Haha his patience doesn't change in MGS4. After defeating crying wolf in MGS4 Otacon calls about changing the CD and then laughing about it that this is PS3, no cd change required. And snake rages after that....

In MGS1 Snake was being used and confused about what's happening because he wasn't completely briefed about his mission. So many things that Campbell kept from him and maybe that's the reason it shows a little bit of his angry side. Where in MGS2 he had complete control of his mission, he didn't need to trust no one unlike in the first MGS he was hesitant to trust anybody right away. In MGS2 and MGS4 he had Otacon his best bud, he's more gentle because he had people he could trust by that time.

@mICHAELmYERS24 Stole the words out of my mouth. That is definitely the reason. In MGS1, I wouldn't say he's still a rookie but he's not so experienced and starts panicking about everything. Whereas in MGS2 and 4 has complete control of the situation and knows what hes doing -- fighting for himself. I figure after all those years, he knows how to deal with specific situation.

This video is downright brilliant! I did notice he is pissed of most of the times in MGS1. Especially the original. Big difference compared to MGS2 or 4. I also find difference between Big Boss in MGS3 and MGS4. In MGS3 he is simply said cold. In MGS4 he's like an old make telling stories..it's a big difference. The scene of Meryl's death gave me goosebumps once again. I watched the TTS version recently. It's no good tbh. And gotta love the music.
