Leslie Nielson you glorious bastard! A tear came to my eye when I saw the part with him coming over the top of the hill with his shirt off and the big walking stick in his hand-- So bad ass. It's still manly to admit that I cried over shirtless Leslie Nielson, right?
this copy is really good. I have to admit that at 12, I thought this was the most amazing movie EVER. Since then I've been wanting to see it again, but the copies are are terrible. Where did you find this?
I'm wondering how many writers in the 70's and 80's were smoking or snorting pretty funking stuff and drinking WAY TOO MUCH when they were at their keyboards.
I've got a taste for bad cinema, but I wouldn't classify "Day of the Animals" as a bad cinema film. It's actually pretty well done, especially the animal attacks and how they are sometimes close to each other. Even Frank Drebin does an okay job as a creep.
I enjoyed this movie and still do 2 this day,Grizzly,Ants,Kingdom of the Spiders r also very good,i know some scenes look fake but they did a good job on all and it was the 70s ,nowadays its just not that good,I have Frogs and i admit it could've had better animal attacks.
well, as was said in another movie, and immortalized by it's youtube reviewer (yor hunter of the future) "well, need a lot more hemp before wer'e through".
When you see a guy robbed of his midnight snack use a piece bread as a projectile weapon, and Lt Frank Dreben try to rape a girl you know you have seen way too many films!
yeah..i loved watching this back in the early 80s..it used to be on telly all the time..now its all but forgotten about unless you have a region 1 dvd player
I could not stop laughing when i saw nielson it was funny

This can DEFINITELY be a great remake - as long as they only use real animals.

@skyhighwhite - The plot for grizzly was so stupid. Didn't they eventually have to use an Army bazooka to kill the bear?
