@otmalec glad you're enjoying it. I own an iMac myself now so OSX Snow Leopard is my primary Operating System, but I still enjoy experimenting with Linux from time to time. :)

hey man nice vid,,,, Im kinda new to this and i installed ubuntu 10.04 LTS and for some reason my computer freezes every few minutes do u have any idea why is that?? pls help thanks

@noveron714 you may wanna provide more details before i can attempt to help you. if you mean completely locking up on you I had that with my old PC and it was a hardware issue.

@j800r yah after it freezes it wont let me click on anything and only the mouse would move so i have to turn it off by hold the power button and sometimes it still freezes after turning it back on or sometime it wont load up good & just my background would appear or the buttons on the top Panel would only load up have way...... and my PC is a

@TheGraemonic the Human theme was a horrid combination of browns. I got rid of it as soon as I installed. I've stuck with the Ambience theme however. It's fine as it is.

Can i use Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail in Unbunu?

@marcyliam a simple answer for you. you don't need to. Ubuntu's default messenger client, Empathy, can connect to MSN (Windows Live Messenger), Yahoo, AIM, Facebook and tons more.

As Windows Live Mail, Ubuntu comes with Evolution as it's default Mail client. If you use a hotmail account, you can just bookmark hotmail and check daily (or however often you like) from your web browser. If you use a pop based Email address, then just add the account to Empathy and access your emails from there.

@j800r Thank you for the reply. It wasn't so much as to want to use Windows based mail/messenger clients, it's just I'm not familial with Ubuntu's equivalent but I'm sure there just as good if not better. Anyway great video and thank's for the info.

I never watch any reviews on YouTube of anything ,products or anything, because I find most people's voices annoying ... For some reason, I like yours, it's very soothing.

Also, good review, thank you for making it. It convinced me to go to Ubuntu 10.4 from Windows 7.

@SeracRavel thank you very much. I have more videos on Ubuntu coming when I have the time. I wouldn't have said I have the greatest voice, but thankyou anyway, lol.

As for switching from Windows 7. Win 7 is the Windows version I can truely say I don't have issues with. That being said, Ubuntu are still a few steps ahead. I highly recommend Win 7 for gaming and Ubuntu 10.04 for everything else.

@hurizam Ubuntu, along with MANY Linux distros. Can be customized to look however you want it to. If you're not happy with the default theme, get a new one! There's plenty out there. You can change your theme, alter your Gnome panels, even add a dock or widgets if you wish. You aren't boxed in like you if using Windows. So sorry dude, but that's quite a lame argument. Respect to you though, and thanks for the props.
