I've been following Jordan since 1984, when he first came in the league everyone was calling him a ball hog, including my dad who became one of michael jordans greatest fan. I've followed Magic, Kareem, Bird, Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, Kobe, But MICHAEL J, is UNREAL!!!
MJ just had it all. Yes, in some areas some players might have been his equals, but other great players didnt have the whole package. MJ had the work ethic which Kobe has too. He had the determination which very few players had. He had the biggest hands for his size, only matched by Dr. J. He had the physical abilities.
He had every quality the other great players had. Even Kobe doesnt have that and LeBron isnt even close.
What I love the most about MJ was the fact that he could talk all the shit he wanted nd back it up. People like Magic, Isiah, Bird, Ewing, and others hated that shit, but, that same reason was why they respect him. GOAT!!! JUMPMAN 23!
@NarutoKun00 nah but kobe is the best right now but lebron will be better than kobe but lebron wont get better than jordan heck if vince carter wouldnt of gotten injured he would of been the closest to jordan ever cuz even jordan said so that hes getting too good too fast that hes the heir to jordans thrown.
@KillaWhat100 nah?? lebron will be better than kobe? what makes you so sure of that ?? let him first get a ring first than we will talk. actually 4 per se. kobe is more closer to jordan , than lebron will ever be. lebron is a long way off from being anywhere near kobe's or jordan's accomplishments. vince carter? are you kidding me ? he does not even have an mvp or a ring.
@NarutoKun00 He did say that about VC and if you watched Vince back then he was unstoppable...Now it's easy to say that vince isn't even close but back then when vince was on the risehe looked like he could be the greatest
Yeah. As someone else said, great choice of music.
Suits the highlights and captures the fact that we'll never see him play again.
I still watch sport and enjoy it; but the enjoyment is blunted, to a certain degree, because i know i'll never see anyone even approaching this man's genius, again.
Perfect music for these MJ highlights. Great job. Some rare material here. They really express the creativity and artistry that MJ possessed. There isn't anyone like him. Can't wait for Part III!
yeah i agree. Today players are too much built with muscles but their skills overall are way behind . They all can perform good till 26-27 but after that they are falling rapidly, their knees can perform any longer. I really don`t remember when MJ used ice for his knees like today player do. Just remember Jordan, Dominique, Drexler, Barkley, Magic.....they all played competitive basketball till 35 and were best in their teams at that age. Dominique was jumping like a boy in his 30es.
People who think Kobe and Lebron are as good as Jordan most likely never saw Jordan play. Kobe and Lebron are good but they don't bring me out of my seat the way MJ did.
u cant really compare these two players they are two differint types of players both very great and u have to remember lebron is still young and since day 1 he came to the nba has been up there with the best and i like jordan to in the history of basketball it isnt always which players is better than the other
An offensive monster and a defensive demon, with skills and talent that matches his will and determination - the Ultimate Basketball Player. And the most successfully-marketed basketball player ever!
MJ was fucking besstly at this shit how dare any of you compare MJ to anyone even at the age of 39 he was scoring 20 something points a game dumbasses.
michael jordan's game was so beautiful to watch. jordan hit defenders with one move and exploded to the hoop or pulled up for the jump shot. he did not do all the unnecessary moves that players in todays game do. they dribble about ten times without getting anywhere.
I don't think Kobe or wade have any chance of being near MJ's numbers.
But last time I checked Lebron has a good chance to match MJs numbers PPG, SPG, and BLPG, match or surpass MJs numbers.
So if he can keep up the pace maybe he'll statiscally be better.
But there's always that X-Factor Jordan had, and that was grace, talent, being a leader, inspiring his team, and carrying his team to a championship... Which Lebron hasn't done.
X-Factor is that now adays teams don't play defense for example the league has gone weak because of the no hand checking rule or the 3 second offensive paint rule. Also MJ averaged 50% shooting numerous times a season and Lebron has yet to have one year shooting 50 FG%. PPG? From his first 5 years in the NBA Lebron averages 27 ppg and MJ wasa close to averageing 31 ppg. So no... But the only two stats that Lebron might be better in are RPG and APG (doubt it)
Let me clarify some of the things I said. Lebron is about a 27.1ppg career player. Kobe is 25. I don't think in any way that Lebron will become a 30ppg career player. But if Lebron can keep up his pace of playing, 27.1ppg and his blocks and his steals assist etc... And if he keeps playing at his current pace. His overall numbers will be more than MJs, but not his average perhaps. Because MJ has retired
Lebron is still young, and if he doesn't miss seasons, he'll have bigger numbers than MJ.
No... MJ will still have better numbers at Steals, Free throw percentage, Field Goal Percentage, PPG, 3P%, and Lebron is only averageing only .8 Blocks for his career while The greatest of all time averaged .83. Only thing that Lebron may have better numbers in are RPG and APG (like I said I doubt it).
*sigh* I said MJs average will be better, but Lebron will have bigger raw numbers. You're saying PG, PG, PG, PG. But like I said in the end Lebron is going to have more bigger numbers if he keeps up his pace because MJ has stopped playing a few times in his career.
Meaning it's possible Lebron can end up with more assists, more points, more blocks than Michael Jordan, while putting up comparable Per Game numbers.
Yeah oh mos def that he may have more Points or APG but I am trying to say the MJ will still have better averages. Comparable in only two or three stats my friend.
MJ can have the higher Per Game numbers, but if Lebron keeps up his own Per Game Numbers, and plays more games than MJ did in his career, his raw numbers can surpass MJ.
You can score 50points per game, but if you only play 2 games. You only made 100 points.
If I score 30 points per game and I play 4 games. That means I made 120 points.
So keep in mind of MJs per game numbers, and then keep in mind of Lebrons per game numbers, and imagine Lebron playing more games than MJ.
In the end of the day MJ will still have better per game numbers and thats what I look at when looking a players after they have played about 5 seasons because thats when you have reached your prime.
YOu fucking stupid MJ had played after his prime with the wizards that dropped his average down but only because of that may others compare to his numbers unlike Kobe or Lebron they havent faced legends like Isiah thomas, Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Barkley, Karl Malone, Stockton and etc. You bring half of those players from back then in their primes few of the superstars of now can survive.
The thing is you cant compare numbers like back then to the one of today's. Jordan used to get triple teamed you know what the fuck that is dude!!! And back in the days the offense player wasnt protected by the rules of today. with the handchecking and etc. M.J. played against legends. Come on now! That is not right to compare there numbers after all those rules have been changed and competition is lacking.
that may be true, but people 100 years from now won't know the difference. When they see career total numbers. They may think Lebron is better than MJ.
lebron is good but he depends more on his physical, hes more physical than ability, jordan and kobe, penny, those guys are more ability than physical. lebron is great, but jordan is the man, he incomparable
i reckon lebron can get 35ppg if he wanted to. only reason he doesnt is coz he wants to put up his assists. and he gets more rebounds because he plays forward and jordan played guard most of the time
While on the other hand, Kobe in no way can catch up to MJ, I don't foresee him getting more points than MJ, and even if he does somehow, he'll still be considerably lacking in all the other stats that MJ can dominate him in.
While on the otherhand Lebron will put up numbers and stats similiar to MJ, while certainly he'll lose in average compared to Jordan, but I don't think he'll ever be dominated like how Jordan's numbers dominate Kobe's numbers.
You seem to be very mistaken here. Career totals are a representation of longevity, and not game by game impact. If career totals are your measure of dominance (which is stupid, because it's short-sighted), then Kareem will forever be the greatest.
forever. Jordan was always always better than the hype. A rare atheletic & aesthetic talent put into 6-6 frame. He had everything. strength, endurance, desire, hunger, vision, focus & to top it all extreme charisma that forced viewers to become his fans & turn on TV every night to catch Air Jordan highlight reel. No one can even come close to him He was way too good. too perfect. Never can be duplicated ever. I rest my case.
Funny how many people post the top 10 stuff from the ultimate jordan dvd, but it never did the GOAT justice.
This mix is one of the few mixes that display what he was during 84-93: he had the hops of Vince, he had the speed of Wade, the body control of Kobe, and the fundamentals that no one else has today.
My goodness 1:32 is one the greatest moves on the floor I've ever seen him do. The body control, lightening reaction time and athleticism. Smoother than DWade or KB could ever do it.
You are very wrong.Every single play i have cut is from regular season game or playoff game, the plays ain't from espn specials or other shit as you say
i dont know about "rare" scene mix. there are probably 7-10 moves in this i would classify as "rare". but the majority of this video is rehashed highlights from his videos and espn specials when he retired...
What i love about the behind the back move is that it was done in the paint, most if not all players go behind the back on the perimeter not in the paint
Hey everone yes this is the real micheal jordan go on my page subscribe whatever you do I just made it!Send me messeges and everthing like that enjoy!
Wonderful!!... miss him...

That is not right to compare there numbers after all those rules have been changed and competition is lacking.

that may be true, but people 100 years from now won't know the difference. When they see career total numbers. They may think Lebron is better than MJ.

lebron is good but he depends more on his physical, hes more physical than ability, jordan and kobe, penny, those guys are more ability than physical. lebron is great, but jordan is the man, he incomparable
chuchutren 2 years ago
Agreed.
LetYourGameSpeak81 2 years ago
i reckon lebron can get 35ppg if he wanted to. only reason he doesnt is coz he wants to put up his assists. and he gets more rebounds because he plays forward and jordan played guard most of the time
neslolz 2 years ago
Lebron would be lucky to get 25 per game in Jordan's league. The defense was a lot tougher, now the rules favor the offensive player.

Amazing video...

There are also some 96-98 era clips, which show that he was still amazing despite losing hops and a step.
LostInTranslation78 3 years ago
Funny how many people post the top 10 stuff from the ultimate jordan dvd, but it never did the GOAT justice.
This mix is one of the few mixes that display what he was during 84-93: he had the hops of Vince, he had the speed of Wade, the body control of Kobe, and the fundamentals that no one else has today.
LostInTranslation78 3 years ago
Great video, man, thanks. That move against the Hawks (0:44) where he dunks over 2 guys is just unbelievable

I'm a big Kobe fan but sometimes you just realize how naturally gifted this guy was. I'm still amazed at how quick he was even at 32.
JKFrazier 3 years ago
My goodness 1:32 is one the greatest moves on the floor I've ever seen him do. The body control, lightening reaction time and athleticism. Smoother than DWade or KB could ever do it.

You are very wrong.Every single play i have cut is from regular season game or playoff game, the plays ain't from espn specials or other shit as you say
cashmoney484 3 years ago
the song is "bittersweet symphony"
i dont know about "rare" scene mix. there are probably 7-10 moves in this i would classify as "rare". but the majority of this video is rehashed highlights from his videos and espn specials when he retired...

OMG, this is fukin tite mix right here!!! Haven't seen quite a few of these dunks, especially the two charity games ones. VERY FUKIN NICE,
Plus, the behind the back dribble move then double pump jump shot aginst Bucks I think. SICK, Also that dunk of the Hawks was NASTY
billyvanbvb 3 years ago
What i love about the behind the back move is that it was done in the paint, most if not all players go behind the back on the perimeter not in the paint
