what microphone are you using, sound quality is awesome? is it your computer/webcam, or do you have one down there near the amp?

@prefontame On this one I used an Edirol R-09 which is an mp3 recorder with a built-in mic that I stick directly against the speaker grill. Video and audio are recorded separately and then synced up at the end.

I've started using an SM57 now which seems to yield better results. You can hear it on my other jerry jones video ('60s jangle).

I once had a copper-burst single cutaway Jerry Jones Neptune. Loved that guitar! It's the only one I regret selling off.

I've watched several of your videos now--your playing is great, and it's really nice to hear all the tones your getting.

However, there's no such thing as "over-emphasized" jangle! ;-) Too much is never enough.

@4130fe I agree but I have to put that disclaimer for the jangle-haters out there. In fact, I'm thinking of getting a janglebox to push the realms of jangleosity to its utmost limits

@danpolicarpo The neck and mid position sound even better than the bridge though I'm struggling to get a good recorded sound out of them at the moment so need to work on that a bit
