Before the current Venezuelan government came into power. Mostly the "rich oil stockholders" who make multimillions of dollars got most of the money. Now the people of Venezuela and the poor around the world benefit from this instead of just a few wealthy individuals. How can you be against this? (just my opinion, you may leave this up a few months. Thank you.)

Venezuela's "rich oil stockholders" have been supplying oil to America's poor for the Kennedy program since 1979, long before Chavez ever took power. (check Citizens Energy's own website.) It's only now that Chavez is demanding it be used as a political tool. And if Venezuelans are so pro-Chavez, how come they voted down his political "reforms" in the last election. Even after he took away freedom of the press earlier this year he still couldn't take away the will of the people.

Hugo Chavez is not a Dictator he won all of his elections by a large majority and the large majority of his country continue to support him because he is actully helping his people of the roots of US imposed poverty, more than can be said of Nazi Dictator George W.
