To be totally honest, I didn't watch this show in the beginning. I was really disappointed with the ones before it. One day, I was bored and decided to check it out. It wasn't bad. I was surprised. I've been watching each episode ever since.

i just dont like the style of the transformers. this generation is making robots skinnier/ humanoid looking. idk i like the style of armada through cybertron the best

@adnextis That's your opinion. I think that these designs give more individuality to the characters, unlike Armada/Energon/Cybertron, where everyone was a square-ey block bot. Those designs made it too hard to create emotion or excessive movement. With TF Primes sleeker forms, the Transformers can express themselves better.

The first few episodes aren't that great, but after the series, "started" it just keeps getting better with every episode.

From story wise it is actually much better than Micheal Bay's transformers where it's just explosions and toilet humour, the robots themselves were absolutely fantastic and streamline unlike the Fat Albert junk piles in the movie.

According to wikipedia TF PRIME will have 26 episodes. I haven't seen the show yet, I'm going to try watch some eps on youtube to catch up on the series. Hopefully the show has good dialogue, and not too childish like earlier renditions of Transformers series. I like the Clone wars CG show, so hopefully it will be somewhere in quality between that show & Iron Man Armada, but we'll see after 10 or so episodes. If it's good then we will get a second season....

As a fan, G1 was great and animated took transformers back to its roots more than any other show that came out. I was wondering since Animated ended what would be the next cartoon series for Transformers and i was not disappointed in the least

I really thought Animated was good...overall. The end of the 3rd season felt rushed, but hey: what are you gonna do? I'm sure they wanted to wrap up the story in case it was cancelled, which it was.

Also, am I the only one who didn't realize Cliffjumper wasn't going to have a more prominent role in Prime?

I watched episode 1 n 2 earlier today and I think its cool! But they didnt explain why BumbleBee is mute and doing the R2D2 sounds (again??) and met the black government dude...

I also kinda liked how they introduced the human kids (teens) to the story..reminds me of Sam from ROTF a bit...and the way they made Arcee into a main heroine-ninja character is kinda cool too...

..and of coz, cullens' voice is ALWAYS welcomed...definately makes the Prime looks cooler.

Ok I've just watched the episodes and all I can say is that having Dwayne The ROCK Johnson as Cliffjumper was fun while it lasted, yeah Cliffy was killed off way too fast but I guess in order to prove that these series are going to be way darker than Animated they had to kill one of the autobots. So far I really like what I see the people who voice TF Prime characters were picked way better than the TF animated guys and this whole show ROCKS!

@nightslash2020 Transformers has JUMPED the SHARK ever since Michael Bay's debacles not that I hate Bay but the Transformers community, youtubers etc kinda are at war with each other and using the excuse "well that's the internet world we live in" doesnt't cut it.. im in a state of limbo for this, like the rock's voice acting was meh, then they kill my favorite character in the first 3 min...wtf. then the human dialogue was a little cheesy at times. but on the other side the action had variety and the animation was naturally great. but why was arcee so careless? lol

Not sure weather I like it more than Animated, but its definately one of my favorites. Animated blew me the freak away the first 3 episodes, because my expectations where really, really low, but this, I really didn't have any solid opinion about it before it aired, one day I thought it looked suckish, then the next, I thought it looked good, so...that.

Technically, you could say that it is linked with War for Cybertron, but even that raises some plot holes. They knew about Dark Energon all throughout the game and suddenly it's a big surprise again in the show. I actually think it's linked to the novel based on War for Cybertron, Transformers Exodus. Also, this series has what has to be the coolest Megatron ever! I especially like his creepy face and permanant glare. It's like Optimus did the "give me your face" thing but didn't quite finish.

It's funny how they created Transformers Animated series made a couple of seasons didn't even finish the story properly (everything was too rushed) and then after quite short time here's another Transformers cartoon.... Yeah it looks good I guess but I hope this show's gonna be for real not for like two seasons or something.

@LarryStudios Even though I liked Prime the first 2 episodes, I wish they had continued Animated instead. I mean, but Prime is starting fresh with a super dark tone. That's what I always wanted from a TF show. Animated got it right in a few episodes in seasons 1 and 2, but in season 3, the show dropped it's balls. People dying left and right, complex stories, and no human villains! But this one starts dark. I was imagining what the punk ass parents thought when (SPOILERS) Cliffjumper got screwed
