Sounds like the narrator has had a lot of 'in me' experiences

However, that was after many hours of work being done to understand the structure of DNA and this still needed to be tested under scientific conditions. If someone comes up with some whacked out explanation of reality that can not be tested or contradicts evidence it can be safely discounted.

To assume that these experiences can not be reduced is absurd. A religious experience proves nothing except that people are capable of having them. To say they establish anything is like saying a religious experience means the world was made in 6 days. I've rarely heard of a religious experience that brings new actual knowledge although I understand that the structure of DNA was first visualized under the influence of LSD so there's that.

I was struggling to understand an argument about an experience for religion, until I listened to this. I only hope to write my power points for class as you have presented here.

What I find disturbing are the fundy communities that tell people not to question their religious experiences:

Well....I don't know about religious experiences. But I HAVE been in love--to the hilt; only to ultimately discover that my feelings were based on NOTHING, and had no objective value or meaning whatsoever ;)
