They KNOW Citizens United and the NDAA are unconstitutional. They also know that in the time it takes for the american people to wake up, get it together, and do anything about it the damage will be done or as they would say "mission accomplished". Fema camps are set up and they are baiting us.

The only real democratic system is when our leaders, our governing individuals are chosen out of the hat, randomly. In other words, real democracy, once invented in Greece, lasted about 200 years. It was then eclipsed by ploutocratic ways of governance which is still today the way things work. Mr. Lessig's vision will still, if put in motion, administer a « bandaid » to an infected injury.

Lessig argues Obama did nothing to overturn Citizens United, but that is just not true. In 2010 Obama tried to pass the DISCLOSE Act, but it was not even brought up to vote on in the House. Is it just me, or hasn't the Republicans fought tooth and nail against everything Obama has tried to do?  Do you really think that Mitt Romney would fight to overturn Citizens United if he was president?

@MrFunkifyurlife President Obama still should do more to clear up all the confusion we have on the NDAA. The bill can be used to say lets say Occupiers for being terrorists. Our constitutional rights are not being held at this point in time. I've been fallowing Occupy Streamers people are being arrested for no reason. I believe this is the beginning of new kind of terrorism as viewed by main stream news watchers. I do agree no one running can change anything. Obama was blocked in every way yes

@MrFunkifyurlife the disclose act was voted on in the house; the senate failed on it. and besides, it only limits the donating of government contractors, as well as adding more disclosing requirements on contributions. that's a very small solution, and it's not surprising that obama supported it, if you look at where his money comes from.

Then look what we got: staged terror attacks called 911, which they used to start 3 illegal wars, sidetracking with murder while they cleaned out the treasury, offering mea culpas only after the death and destruction are irreversible. All because we allowed it. Do you think they aren't on to the next heist? Bush only had to be fooled once.
