uh, id imagine the net is an attempt to deter trespassers. its not too extensive a measure to take in the circumstances (ie. the fact that numerous trespasses have taken place and have even been video taped and applauded by the guilty parties). the net is not a danger and simply serves to make trespass more difficult.
