Until someone can invent a renewable powersupply that can pump out the huge power needs of the planet that will become evident in the next 20 years where all fucked.

what is you definition of luxury. those cars kinda look luxurious from my point of vu :P. You have a point, truks will probably never be completely electric, although electricity generates alot of torque. Personally, my brother has an hybrid lexus and pounds on it hard. It works fine for his job.

electric cars? THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE! to get electricity to have to have a powerplant. EG a coal powerplant or a nuclear. electric and oil and both as bad as eachother.

There are green alternatives, Hydroelectricity, wavegenerated electricity, thermic plants, and many more ( wind, solar). We just need to get rid of a specific kinds of powerplants :).
