  • why do i see a person with 2 right hands?

  • This is fantastic, I would really love it if you made visualizations for other genres as well, especially some motown (I would kill to visualize James Jamerson)

  • I hear a woman speaking at 00:6 for one second and at 2:09 for six seconds.

  • @T42nk I've added an answer to the FAQ.

  • @smalin So that's how it happened. Good thing I am not able to hear anything else than the music in the recording.

  • @smalin can you please make a video for a song by the pirates of the caribbean. its called He's a Pirate

  • I heard of being born with two left feet...but never two right hands...

  • This is simply amazing.

  • I can't think of another word that funny for this piece.

  • ...MMMMMMMaravilloso....dos excelentes manos derechas interactuando, contando una increíble historia de lo que paso el día de hoy....Gracias.

  • @smalin sure :)

  • In this sense, is it still a percussive instrument?

  • @GotsTricks I think a pipe organ is usually considered a woodwind (or, at least, a wind) instrument.

  • @smalin

    Thought so

  • @smalin metalic wind instrument...

  • @mariano26788 Well, except that some pipes are made out of wood.

  • @smalin But wood is nature's metal!

  • @AbqHalsey

I'm pretty sure, no I'm positive, metal occurs in nature.

  • Brilliant idea splitting the frames. Oh, no, the comments about 2 right hands are going to be endless. Although on some of your performances I was thinking you might have 3 or 4 hands actually, some with 6 or 7 fingers each! Ha ha, I'm still not sure.

  • COOOOL!

  • Great work, I am encouraging my students of music to "look" at your work. It's wonderful. Thank you so much for helping us to visualize the structure of music. Specially in Baroque pieces, is so easy to understand with clarity the role of each voice in the polyphonic work.

  • play snake when your watching/listing to this song it's so cool!

  • OH MY GOD ! He has two right hands !

  • @Tity32 You should see my legs.

  • Great work! I like the "..and back here tomorrow" that appears on the left speaker at 0:03, adds something theatrical , like pink floyd - the wall :- )

  • @TheodorKruegerMusic Wow, I missed that. My mixer is a little leaky sometimes ... so you got some KQED ...

  • heehee.. it's very handy..

  • It must be awesome to have two right hands (if you know what I'm sayin).

  • @FreeGuitarLicks Yes, it's very ... handy.

  • Meanwhile, in Chernobyl...

  • @BLooDCoMPleX is it a game? or a movie?

  • @bachopinberg No it's a meme.

  • Awesome! OwO

  • With a recording like this, what comes first, the chicken or the egg? Did you record one with a metronome or with a recording of the piece? I'd have to have the other person to riff off :)

  • @beatchef Yes, I recorded the first one against a click-track, and then the second with the click-track plus the first recording. That's why the timing is a little unnatural in places (especially the very end) --- the normal give-and-take of a live performance wasn't possible.

  • This is great. Thumbs up.

  • i wonder if people know that it's "for 2 treble instruments..."

  • Dear smalin,

I would like to know if it would even be even possible to make an animation for the song "Threnody to The Victims of Hiroshima" by Krzysztof Penderecki. I would like to try, but I don't know if I even can.

  • 2 right hands??? WTF!!!!!!!?????

  • That's great!

  • So if I made a video similar to yours, using the same MAA style, do you think you could play it by sight? Or is this just a representation of the notes and nothing more? I ask because it seems like one would need some kind of bar to mark where the notes are supposed to start in relation to each other, similar to the bar in guitar hero that shows you when to time the notes you play, if that makes sense. Is this in any particular key? Sorry, I just like to ask questions.

  • @CamButler This notation is designed for listeners, not performers; it would have to be different in many ways to be suitable for performing from.

  • thing and his brother?...yeah sorry lame joke, good music though!

  • Couple you please play "The heart seeks please first" from the movie "The Piano" .... It's such a beautiful and complex piece of music and I'd love see how that would translate into your technology!

  • I just read the History section on your website, as you adviced me. It's facinating! :)

  • @pedroca2424 fascinating*

  • are those your magnicifent hands?

  • @something2thinkabou1 Magnificent or not, they're mine. (Or, rather, it is mine ... since it's just the right hand.)

  • ?? reminds me of video games?

  • oo i like this one

  • I dont understand why I am looking at two right hands

  • @shaneymane15 could be because he's playing 2 instruments not only one? and he record one and then the other one?

  • @shaneymane15 read the Title ;)

  • @shaneymane15 Because it's for "two treble instruments" --- the left hand would be for a bass instrument.

  • love it. reminds me of zelda OoT

  • Awesome, great skill.

    Thanks.
