  • they look like alice in chains

  • time period elitism? Some people are just unevolved. Look here's the deal, there is no decade that is the worst, yet. Though, with each decade, music gets a little more watered down and filtered. Because of advancement in recording technology. So, music isnt as raw and untamed as it once was, 45 years ago. But there will always be some bands who retain the transcendent qualities and sensabilities of the old days, rather than relying on electronic programs to provide them with hollow art.

  • not forgeting blink, stroke 9, jimmy eat world and green day!

  • @razza1171 offspring and sugar ray too.

  • @meleemaster1up idk they started out with grunge then transitioned to pop punk

  • i dont even want to think, all i want to do is sleep... cause i'm bitter when i wake up ---- EPIC lyrics there!

  • these guys played my bar before they got big. O-Town Tavern, Ogden, UT. They rocked before they got big!

  • The guitarist has an epic goatee

  • Lit and the offspring are two very distinctive bands and both equally awesome :)

  • Good ol' Lit!

  • the guitarist reminds me a bit of jame hetfeild (not sure how to spell it)

  • sound like the offspring cause they both from the OC everyone sounds the same there

  • yay, vincent gallo

  • @meleemaster1up These days,pop/little punk.Atomic and Place in the Sun,Pop punk,Tripping the light Fantastic,grunge/punk.

  • RIP Allen Shellenberger

  • @reartraction RIP? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

  • @iTzGamer4life

He died on 14 august 2009 man. Really sad, he was a good drummer.

    RIP Allen, You ROCKED.

  • alice in chains influence ;)

  • AMAZING this band kicks ass

  • there are plenty of good bands in this period not the the disney shit but underground punk and ska bands are good 90s was great but the 80s influenced it and bands in it like nirvana and other good bands each period had good music u just have to find it

  • Yeah you are right, guys.

    I like the 90's stuffs..

  • I loved alternative during the 90s

  • it remember me a lot to Nirvana

  • LIL KID FALLS ON 'IS ASS thats funny as hell lol, gota love there music vid's aye?

  • true

  • im 14 and the 90's rule fuck rap n hip hop go rock rock rock punk punk punk

  • Hey, there was a lot of rap in the 90's.

  • The 90's the worst period in music?? so I guess Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Guns And Roses, Panthera, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, Nine Inch Nails, wasn't enough for you... so let me guess now it's a better period... damn you really must be one of those Jonas Brothers fans or something like that, or have like the worst taste in music, the 90's rule! and I am sure a lot of people here agree with me...

  • I think 90's was actually one of the best periods in music, and all those bands kick ass!

  • @Smaster116 agreed!

  • agree with u

  • @joe2804 lit fucking rules. they remain to be one of the better post-grunge bands.

  • @joe2804

don't wanna sound like a douche, but you missed radiohead :P

  • @joe2804 you're right, but U2 and GnR aren't exactly 90s band. anyway, 90s were an incredible period for music, i wish i could live all that again. rock was open to all influences and much more melodic, emotive, powerful, well played and less shallow than 80s and 00s stuff. the period 1966-1977 has probably been the only better one.

  • @joe2804 Time period elitism is a great way to miss out on a lot of quality music. You're just listing off the stuff you listened to, growing up. Most people are the same way, really. Lots of people swear that all good music ended in the 70s.. or 80s.. And kids today are going to swear that all good music ended in the 00s. *shrug* Open your hears and enjoy the music, man.

  • @joe2804 totally agreed

  • The vocalist looks like he has really itchy nuts at 0:20

  • To say nothing of Everclear, Gin Blossoms, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Counting Crows in addition to the bands you mentioned (though I'd argue that U2's finest moments were in the 80s, probably GN'R's too).

  • rofl!

  • i agree with FrostyBoy777Ritz too

  • Um, no?

  • ? Death metal, hip hop, grunge, metalcore, hxc, and alternative had some interesting shit goin on in the 90s

  • check out...modest mouse...deathcab for cutie...owl city....postal service....

  • i agree with FrostyBoy777Ritz

  • good song!!!

  • indeed the 90s was my favorite music era now most modern music today sucks thier are some few but not many

  • After the 90s went so did they.

DAMN YOU NEW AGE TEENAGERS AND YOUR DAMN MUSIC CRAP. BRING BACK THE 90S MUSIC ERA

  • i agree! music nowadays is kinda crap

  • Fucking damn right!!!

  • agreed but lit didn't leave. they still perform they just haven't made a new song. Their next concert is on November 8th i think

  • Vincent Gallo is so sweet there ^^

  • if my country needs a new better anthem to discribe itself i'd recommend this

  • Jeremy owns the Slidebar in Cali. This by far far is there greatest and my favortie song ever by them i mean this is the shit!

  • it annoys me that i cant find their first album anywhere. I have their last three but i cant find the others. Also, they were last touring in Italy so far as I know. They haven't been in the States much in the past about 3 years, just Europe mostly. But they may be workin on a new album now bc the last posted tour date was back in July i think.

  • same thing with Alien Ant Farm, before Dreamworks allowed them to put out Up in The Attic, they made their own "bootlegs" and gaveem out at concerts, it was a big FU to the record company, they also crashed the, 99' BET Awards, Gay pride parade, and Justin timberlake Concert ..good times.

  • I want moon boots. =(

  • mtv need bands like this not the stupid posers like others or stupid rytmic new generation rnb's

  • what happened to lit? really miss these guys

  • lit almost reminds me of the offspring in many ways, like for one you either know or like the band lit or you don't like them, and if you know anything about them at all it's because of "my own worst enemy" cause everyone knows that song.

  • I agree

  • @hormones93 I agree totally. Having seen them on tour together makes that connection really valid. For me, anyhow.

  • was this from their second album?

  • 1st

  • yeah i did a little research on it today, so yeah and thanks for lettin me know anyway incase i didn't find out.

  • This song ROCKS ! ! ! ! !

  • Nothing to say...This is another great song by Lit, as usual...

But I don't like the video...This great song deserves a better video...

  • OMG what a wicked song I had this on the b-side the my own worst enemy!!! Thanks so much for the post!!!

  • great band. great album. great song. horrible video.

  • Yeah, I absolutely agree with you!

  • Is this a new song? Do anyone know when the (a) new album comes?

  • No it's not a new song. It's of the Tripping the Light Fantasric album, Lit's first album.

  • No, this song is from "5 smokin' tracks" of 1996 and then, in the following year, was included in "Tripping the light fantastic"...

  • Lit is the best.

  • this band is amazing

  • love the song,, really love lit:]
