  • @guleca Actually, the flying eagle has been around since the 50's...so I wouldnt say it's either of their shots

  • I love the skill challenges. It's a chance for the pro bowlers to get together, have some fun and loosen up around each other.

  • Norm reminds me of Art Garfunkle

  • such friendly game XD i love it

  • the flying eagle is walter ray williams trick to all of yall

  • @compton5410 You're wrong. That's Chris Barnes trick

  • "...and im gunna come up behind him with two balls in the opposite hand" 1:12

    LMFAO!!!

  • @ 3:59 don't try this at your local bowling alley

  • 1:12 "...and im gunna come up behind him with two balls in the opposite hand"

  • I've met a few of these guys. Danny was a bit of a dick, Norm is great. I actually beat him in a pro-am at the Greater Harrisburg Open.

  • @Polishjazzman That's weird, I met a bunch of those guys at a Pro-Am hosted by Wiseman in Baltimore a couple years back. Wiseman was super nice. We did a dual 7-10 split shot. He took out the 7 and I missed the 10 cuz I was so freakin nervous haha. Maybe he was having a bad day when you met him!

  • Are you kiddin me.. WOOHAAAAA^^

  • Flying eagle is not Duke's trick. It's Chris Barnes'

  • @guleca its not even chris barnes' trick

  • @guleca no its zack gorts's

  • @glitcher998 wow you are fucking dumb

  • its zack gorts dumbass

  • @sniper9722 Because it's Barnes' trick.

  • throwing a ball out of a towel is one thing, but HOOKING that ball out of a towel is crazy.

  • 16 Pounder. 30 ft down the lane. Strike. Words don't do this justice.

  • That was absolutely amazing. I guess Norm had something to prove after that crack about his height.

For those who didn't catch it, after Norm said he was doing the stunt, Doug Kent said "You have to be taller than the chair to get it over it, don't ya?"

  • Norm didn't do the shot Brian Voss did.

  • can u explain a couple of terms plz: pounder and ft

  • 30 feet down the lane with a 16 pound ball.

  • I understood all but feet and pound.

  • @Turtlehoop

aprox. 10 meters and 8 kg

  • But it was a Brooklyn, no excuses.

  • While he may have hit light with the 2 pin, Norm Duke actually appears dangerous with the towel/rag shot. If the towel/rag is somewhat abrassive, it can get serious revs and the towel can act as a sling, thus giving additional speed. It wouldn't surprise me if Norm has had a 300 with this technique. Don't know if USBC makes it legal, but looks like could be a novelty form like that 2-handed Aussie of recent.

  • 30 Foot Loft With 16 Pound Gear, Wow.

  • How awesome would it have been if Wiseman had converted the 7-10 by himself after Doug Kent missed the 7? That highlight would have been on ESPN for a century.

  • Yeah, I agree with Rivers ask someone who has those balls. My teammate also has the Cell Pearl, it is a really good ball. The hook is fantastic(: I have the Tropical Storm, or as Storm I like to call it xD. And I have a Brunswick, as my spare ball.

  • Hi, im looking for a high performance ball. Which should i choose? i cant decide between the Rogue Cell and the Cell Pearl by Roto Grip?? any advice on which is better?? any response will be greatly appreciated...

  • depends on what your idea of performance is. lots of revs, big hook, slow hook, and so on.

for revolutions OR the hook, i advise the cell pearl

my league mate has it, and it throws perfectly with a big hook. try asking someone who allready has one of those balls :)

  • what terrible quality....

  • lol 9 is good

    soooooooo not XD

    only for wiseman its good

  • These are, and have always been fun to watch. They need to add 30 minutes to the ESPN coverage so that the matches don't run over the time limit and they can use these as time fillers after the match when necessary. Great fun to watch!

  • i wanna see norm duke and brian voss do the 7-10 trick shot with the pinsetters on

  • haha, bowling trash talk is funny...haha

  • Did he say "dougie fresh"?!

  • yeah its dougs nickname i think its cause of all his major titles

  • Man they really updated St. Clair Bowl since 1997.

  • i am getting the new avalanche slide for christmas

  • i just got a ebonite gamebreaker i have yet to use it i hope it improves my game

  • i got my dimension for $180 brand new their cheap if ur sanctioned

  • does that included drilled? i bought one for 127. but gotta pay 50 to drill it so same price

  • LOL, they spelled "between" as "betwwen" at 2:18

  • haha nice i didnt notice first time

  • Happens again at 2:43

  • actully bowling ball might be 300$ to

  • yah especially storm bowling balls:special agent ,shift,gravity shift,secret agent,dimension.

  • lol u guys are getting ripped off so bad. i can buy a brand new high performance ball for under $200

  • Yeah, everybody go to your local bowling alley and try these things and see how fast they kick your butt outta there.

  • bullshit

  • that was in reply to "konzkripted" haha

  • i live right next to the st. clair bowling ally!! lol

  • in southern IL?

  • OHHH! Doug Kent with the dig! I love these :D

  • The Skills Competition are more fun to watch then the actual matched I think

  • you have to be taller then the chair to get it over it...lol

  • yeh thats what he said and i think all that watched this heard it

  • i love this sport

  • this video is the most most happiest time of my life..h

  • This is something they do outside the tour, just like your slam dunk contests or your home run derby. It the same thing for bowling, trick shots. And no!! Bowling is not something where you go get drunk with your friends with, and there is more to it then getting drunk and having cheap entertainment for.

  • why u so lyk bowls?

  • It's "Americans" like you that give the sport that outlook sometimes! Innovation of the sport came within the past few decades, ball cores, ball covers, lane oil patterns have all helped bowling become a complex competitive sport that it is known today. And I appreciate it that you respect that.

  • You're absolutely right. Sports should always be totally serious. There's no room for "fun" crap like this in bowling!

Apparently the concept of entertainment eludes you...

  • No entertainment does no escape from me, yes the trick shots is there for entertainment but if you base that off by saying its not a sport, thats totally irrelevant.

  • I was replying to minerva, sorry for the confusion... YouTube's forum setup is completely screwed up...

  • Right on, that makes sense now that I look at it. Thanks for the support Hammerhead!

  • bowling is an amazing sport and it usually costs more than baseball or basketball a good bowling ball can be 400+ dollars its really fun

  • no, usually only like 230 for a top of the line ball

  • norm duke is really a great guy but walter ray is an ASSHOLE

  • I like the towel shot :)

    One of the hardest shots

  • thats air time on 3:37 thru 3:40

  • whats a pederast walter?

  • fuck off petifile

  • they just repeat and repeat ................., go to practive more and think of something new

  • hahaha i almost made the shot between legs that Norm Duke and Brian Voss made check it out, don't be so bad it's our first try :)

  • Ehmmm Excuse me, in Palermo;

  • Wow it's fantastic.

I practise Bowling a Palermo (Italy).

    It's Fantastic

  • where was this at?

  • kent semms like he'd be a douchebag

  • Yea thats what i thought brfore i met him...hes not bad...in fact quite nice

  • No he doesn't. He seems like a really nice guy.

  • @Wolfman12395 i met him, and he is a really really nice dude

  • @ninjaturtletommy

Kent is awesome. Super nice guy off the lanes. On the lanes during competition, though, he's all business.

  • @ninjaturtletommy i agree with you

  • @ninjaturtletommy i agree with wolfman he's just having fun joking around.

  • @ninjaturtletommy Danny wiseman is such a sore winner.

  • @ninjaturtletommy I bowled with Jake Kent, his son, in tournaments in/around, Rochester NY. Doug Kent would come to the tournament to watch. Doug is a great guy.

  • @ninjaturtletommy what are you talking about? he seems like hes an awesome guy :E you numnut

  • OOO he disses them and then gets owned by him.

  • "You have to be able to taller than the chair to get it over it, don't you?" ROFLMAO

  • Never seen Norm so much emotion like he does at 9:10.

  • Impressive Most Impressive

  • hahahhahahaha

  • notice the man at 6-58/59 he looks quite fun ;D

  • you just have to notice that, don't you? hehehe
