Julie, I have to say I love the book-I purchased the Kindle version, and I am telling everyone I know about it! I have been watching your videos for over a year, and when I heard your book came out I was so stoked!
@valen0011 How many people would actually watch a veg*n cooking show? Something like 10% of the population is vegetarian; around 2% of the population is vegan. Tell omnivores that something is veg*n, and many would turn their noses up at it. It's much more feasible to broadcast omnivore recipes that include some vegetarian options, something they already do. Anyway, why ruin good content with commercials?

Love the ear-rings, Julie. :)
Vegan Diner: my favourite recipe book ever (and I have Vegan with a Vengeance, and The Veganomicon).
You are the master (mistress?) of seitan. The pastrami is unbelievable.

Nice! My recipe is very similar, though I use the traditional oil/flour roux method. Your method allows for cutting down on the fat :)

Oh man guilt-free gravy! I'm not even so much excited about the vegan aspect of it as I am for its low-fat content. And so easy to make.
Congrats on the new book!

I have never had nutritional yeast sauce that didn't ever so mildly taste like vomit.

thanks for the recipe but it doesn't seem to have any sage in it as the title suggests.

@CaptainPUNisher Thanks for pointing this out! This is fixed now, as this is a 2 Pepper Gravy and not the sage gravy recipe. Thanks!
