this game is easier to find as a .cas file at atarimania the game was too big for a cart over 64k a cart version would back then be to much it was on disk to i think but i got a tapedrive so i used cas2wav and then put the wav on a CD with a cheap CDwalkman $10 and a casette adapter i was playing it on real hardware but most EMUs for XL support .cas
@defzonoc - hi there, as a fellow atari user, could you tell me how to use the cas2wav file! i have tried and failed! lol. i have loadsa cas files, and i plan to save the file to cassette for use with my atari 130xe. If u can help it would be much appreciated! i drag and drop the files, but it says cannot open cas file!! cheers!
@SuperAudioboy yeah the volume is your prob it is EXTREMLY picky and is different for cd players i use a creative zen player now as it allows me to set the volume as a number so for my games i set it to 22 you said you modded yours but i just use a cassette adapter like you but into a tape deck but had to cut the wires to fit otherwise my 1050 wouldn't close but the ideal is to try over and over turn up volume a little at a time but no game that needs to pause tape works unless u pause the cd
@defzonoc yeah your right, so i use a program called audacity. What i do is connect a good tape deck to pc, and for every tape i adjust the head for best signal, then i set the rec vol for each one to the same level. every game is different. so this makes it a lot easier to load from a cd. Had good results. And why didnt i think of one of those adapter things! lol. my 1050 works ok, but sometimes gets a bit sparodic trying to load. it writes perfect, but edgy loading. any clue? heads clean ect
It seems that ripples on the water are green, and I remember them being green in the version I had about 20 years ago. But in Emulators they appear blue - can anyone with real Atari confirm what their color is ?
ahhh the memories . . . .

@SuperAudioboy hi sorry it took soo long you should just drag and drop its important the CAS be in same folder as the cas2wav.exe

@defzonoc ah! i never thought of that. my files are in a different folder. Thanks so much, will try that.
I modified my xc12 to plug into cd player or ipod ect. put my own files to WAV on pc, saved onto cd. Never get load error. Done same with speccy.
Thanks again!

Still one of the best fighters i.m.o. But then again i don't like fantasy fighters with moves like fire balls and powers to ice your oponent.
