1) "It's difficult to imagine any real education or science going on in such a circus atmosphere. It can't, really. The underlying message we get as a member of the audience is that these beautiful animals - their dorsal fins and their wild behaviour withered by captivity - are there only to do would-be cute and comic tricks for us, for our amusement.
2)They are deprived of what makes them orcas - their deep, long-lasting extended family life, the 100-or-more-mile daily hunts, and the chance to exercise their clever predator skills. They are forced to spend the rest of their shortened lives with a few other (often unrelated) orcas, unable to do more than circle a featureless concrete pool, and eat dead fish." - Eric Hoyt.

i don't agree wit captivity but wat if they had to capture it becuse it was sick and was on the verge dying and they had nurse it back to health then they can ste it free but they do deserve to be in theyr'e natural habitat if not they deserve a day or 2 off
Orcas are at the top of the food chain. They are the Kings of the Ocean. To force them onto land, to live in bath tubs, to perform ridiculous, unatural tricks for survival is an absolute disgrace. It is an abusive sea circus and it is heart breaking to watch these animals suffer for the sake of your entertainment.
These poor creatures. How they went from swimming thousands and thousands of miles to these swimming pools. Watch these animals in their natural habitats. It's so beautiful and real. The air, the plants, the water...you can see a magnificent difference in behavior between animals in captivity and those who are free.
I've seen this and its amazing but you got to feel sorry for the poor things. Essentially its no different what they make bears do in Russia. Bless em.
