Thousands protest in Japan against nuclear power

Well when your paying $500 a month for electricity when you go "green" we'll see how much you protest nuclear energy.

Since Fukushima in March 2011, Japan has elected a pro-nuclear national government as well as pro-nuclear governors in the provinces. But 30,000 protesters seem to outweigh this according to the media. The media love spreading fear and preying on people's imaginations, it sells a lot of papers and air time. Despite Chernobyl the Ukraine continues to use Nuclear power and in expanding its reactors from 15 to 22.

@d2099y Actually, the PM has said that old reactors are no longer allowed to be used, and new ones are no longer able to be built. If nothing changes, they'll be out of use entirely in about 50 years. That's not very pro-nuclear, bb.
