What did Hamilton do in that situation? Did he tried to tackle Massa out right at the start? No. He let him win and secured his title driving his own race like a decent champion does. Glock's tires were finished, you can't drive properly with damaged tires you twat. That's why he gave up the position.

@villy27 Probably, but Massa is a nice guy! I am not a Massa fan but he seems to be a very very good guy. maybe too good sometimes. Alonso just seems like a duche to me. When Alonso overtook Massa into the pits at.. a couple of races ago Massa should have had the agression of Shumi, Hamilton, Vettel or Kubica and pushed Alonso into the grass where he belonged. But instead he moved out of the way into the grass himself. Alonso is a briliant driver, but i don't like how he is as a person.

Trulli's final lap was actually a lot slower than Glock's, which just proves the whole Glock slowed down theory rubbish...they both were just on totally the wrong tyre for the conditions. And if it weren't for all the retarded penalties+inventing new rules(no overtake within 2 corners after letting someone past lols) the FerrarIA handed out to Lewis, Massa wouldn't have even gotten close to winning the Championship as Lewis would have won it at least 1 race earlier.

I certainly hope he is back at full fitness for next year. I really don't think they should try and rush him back into the car this season as he could potentially risk further injury which will be bad for him, the sport and us as fans and spectators. If he has the car next year and ferrari don't favour alonso(we all know how alonso behaves when he is treated equally...tantrums ensue) and hold Massa back he surely could be champion in 2010 :)

In my opinion Felipe Massa's reaction to his Championship defeat sums up exactly why F1 will be poorer for his (hopefully brief) absence. He is a true sportsman. Unlucky for Felipe that he didn't win the Championship; I think he was the more deserving driver but nonetheless Lewis is a worthy champion. Get well soon Felipe.

I am a huge Ferrari fan, but come on...don't blame Glock. The lap lasted just a little bit too long for him. But compare his laptime with that of Trulli...practically the same. I don't blame Glock at all. I was happy he took the gamble to stay on dry tires, cause if he didn't he would be BEHIND Hamilton. Don't forget that. He skipped a pitstop by staying on dry tires. So I am actually happy that he gave us, Ferrari fans, a genuine shot at the title. You don't win or lose the title in 1 race.

I don't think you understand what I meant. You can win, for example, 1 race and crash out in all the others. Would you win the championship? No. 2007 and 2008 were decided in the last race, but the championship was not won/lost there. It was won/lost over the entire season. If Hamitlon had crashed out in 2 races in 2008 where he finished in the points, the last race in 2008 would not have made that much of a difference.
