There are two opposite ends of the stick. There is music in this register at the lowest end of the sound spectrum. Kraja music is on the opposite end in a skandinavian high heavenly register. Both of these are epic. Folk music it can be amazing.

It`s a good music, it doesn't matters for none if they are turks or different race ! We are all the same, our story beguns somewere in Africa so just listen this HUMAN music.
It goes into my favourites ! Peace and prosperity from Romania !
@Turul1101: just type in 'Kaa-Khem lyrics' or 'Kaa-Khem translation' in Google and you'll be surprised! This way i learned to sing a lot of beautiful songs. Have fun!
Kaa-Khem is the name of a one of the rivers form the Enisey. Woman-River. The other one is Biy-Hem(on Turkish Bey Nehir) which means Man-River. This song about the river on whose banks grew singer..
@Turul1101 Kaa-Khem is one of the two main rivers in Tuva, the other being Ulug-Khem ("Yenisei" in Russian). Kaa-Khem is said to have great healing properties as is considered a sacred river in Tuvan (and Northern Mongolian) Buddhism. It's pretty much an honorary song to the river. It's also one of my absolute very favorite songs ever written. Love always, brother (or sister, whoever you are).
@KhukhTolbo well I do have the eyes ..greetings from Turkey ..but i m not very pleased about all these historical comments under Tuvan music ..its distracting ..and no point at all..really def up with same discussion over and over ..
Yat-kha is one of the best bands I know. I love them. For some reason, it brings something up inside me(seeing how I (if you trace my ancestry WAY back) I'm of Mongolian ancestry.
You right. i got confused because tuva people like to be independent. and their throat singing technique is wee bit different. They feel being tuvans not mongolians ;-)
Don't simplify things, even different town in same German province can have special traditions. Now when talk about Tuva, it's many centuries old unique culture.
to be honest ALL people have the same ancestry but that doesn't mean that tuvians are turkish. i think they have more mongolic blood because of their looks language and culture.
@Tschoob Lol. Being honest is not enough. I suggest you study some Turkic history and antropology my friend. Tuvans are Turkic ppl indeed. All proofs show that way.
@dogu85 you have your opiinion and i have mine. if there are more ppl thinking your way it doesn't mean that you are right. learn to think on your own my friend!
@dogu85 i don't give a damn about scientific facts cause they were wrong too many times. some time ago 'facts' were that the earth is flat or is the center of the universe. too bad there are so few ppl that think on their own and are willing to have their own opinions and aren't relying solely on someone's (smarter) ideas. the only truth that have some value is only yours discovered by yourself. sry for my english but i hope you'll understand
@Tschoob so you doubt in science, nice. I guess you don`t believe in this whole gravity thing? after all it`s a scientific theory. Also I guess you don`t visit doctors, cause medicine is a science, and i reckon you don`t use computers or Internet. Did someone write this comment for you?:) Seriously speaking learn some things about science, before you start yapping bout it. Science does not offer finite answers - it uses hypothesis. Those sometimes change, but discarding them is, well, silly.
@Tschoob i doubt myself too when science "institutions "stop making science but make politics instead and manuplate the science for politic ,ideologic reasons esp when it comes to step nomads culture, more categorisations are made, splitting the branches from main tree, constant naming ,renaming to confuse ,creating syntethic concepts, tag over and over .Mostly people from step nomad culture are being treated like subjects of a committed cultural assimiliation, we sense and dont like it.
@kelRapunzel that2s why all these comments are made under music clips going on and on..all step nomad people are confused so much bout their culture arguing here and there .....this so called science cause that mess..all nations of step nomads should make their science ,don't let others talk for them .and get more and more confused ,argue with eachother over these concepts ..we are so scattrered ,more thesis bring more confusion..because they are made for "imperialism" thats all
@XOBOPXYH but i see these comments under almost every yat kha clips .Yat Kha is an awesome group wish we would talk about their music ..anyways..Let's not argue, i can remove my comment if you want
