  • If mimicking a cockroach , then the front 2 legs should be closer together.

    Just a thought =]

  • battery life 3 min

  • i miss working on this...

  • eh..

  • No.

    No.

    No.

Notice that the cockroach decides to put his weight forward when up on a ledge, which your robot does not do. When you climb, you don't let your feet alone drive your body. This robot only uses its legs.

  • That is really an incredible point to bring up... future designs could greatly benefit from bending the chassis to assist the front limbs by shifting the center of gravity forward.

  • not bad.... but no tgud the battle field... imagine ur getting chased by one of those!

  • sure is a spritely bugger

  • THAT VOICE 0.o

  • Would be perfect for Mars

  • YES. Why does NASA insist on wheels?

  • with all the extra bounce and vibration from the type of leg/wheel format will make all joint , motor , axle , & frame work to be shortend . The concept is good but needs some more thaught in the leg/wheel concept to make them more usefull to the robotic concept of your project of life expectincey.

A-for effort & D-for no thaught in how all the bouncing and vibration would effect the machine over time.

  • @watchdog3 -- You get a "F" for your english. "thaught" is not a word. Neither is "expectincey." Please do a spell check before you criticize others.

  • Needs some music in the second half or comentary or something but really cool.

  • I saw the game Descent displaying at 3:52 :P

  • what an interesting concept..legs on wheels! =o)
