I have been to weddings where the music is rock n roll, country music, pop, or polkas and they always have this bridal dance no matter what the culture of the bride or groom is. Western Pennsylvania is a great place to live with talented musicians. It does not matter if it is the Eastern Polkas or the Chicago style polkas, it is a lot of fun to dance to.

@derail14 Chicago style isn't slow and draggy and def doesn't suck! I'm 25 yrs old and LOVE Chicago style (have been listening my whole life). Honky...yes a little slow, but still enjoyable. When my friends, family, and I go to a polka festival (which occurs quite often) and see people come in (usually after they stop collecting admission) and start dancing like this, it does nothing but make all of us feel like they are making fun of us....so I'm not really sure how I feel about this video.

That's not polka dancing in any sense. This is what my (non-polka) friends do when they make fun of me for listening to polka. If they think polkas are great, they should go to a dance, experience it, keep the music alive, and stop looking as though they are mocking it. Learn to REALLY dance instead of just this flapping around.
