  • father daughter?

  • @bongoboyj, I have no idea. Entirely possible. It could be father, son, daughter. You'd really need a reliable sparring partner to get good at something like this, so maybe like Water-Sking, or Tight-Rope Acts (Flying Wallendas) , close friends, or family members are commonly incorporated in the stunts. Since this is a regular full time traveling show, they may just be very talented and un-related people.

  • I always enjoy watching lumberjack contests on TV. The strength and stamina required for some of the events is unbelievable. Great video.

  • @elviejoinez ,Yeah, different body types perform better at different events. Agility is the key to most events I'd guess. Big and burly works for the log sawing competition but I think weight would work against you in the pole climbing event. I thought it was impressive how fast that one guy got up to the top of the pole.

  • @elviejoinez As regional bragging rights for Minnesota, I copied this from Wikipedia, an authoritative and infallible source of facts, haha. Wikipedia: The Minnesota State Fair is the state fair of the U.S. state of Minnesota. Its slogan is "The Great Minnesota Get-Together." It may be the largest state fair in the United States in terms of average daily attendance,[1] though the State Fair of Texas runs twice as long and is the largest by annual attendance.........
