I love this song so much. The meaning is something people, religious or not should atleast consider. The idea of religion is not bad. The act of following a religion is not bad, but when you start spreading hate, because of religion, you are wrong. In my personal observation, most religions contain a large amount of ignorance towards opposing ideas.
I'm a Christian and I think this song is great. I really don't think that they're anti-Christian or anything, I think this song had a different meaning and some people interpreted it the wrong way. I agree that a lot of religious groups are extremely forceful and hateful, but they don't represent all religious people. So everybody should stop either saying the band are anti-Christian, or commenting about how bad religion is because neither of those things is true or fair.

I agree with Aiden's message within this song. Be yourself, question the dogmas and indoctrinations offered by various organized religions. I have no issues with religion or people that believe in them, it's religious dominionists/extremists that I have issues with. I know many wonderful Christian folks that are completely against fundamentalist ideals. I personally am an Agnostic Pantheist Pagan. I'm all for open-minded discussion. My freind knows more of the bible then most standar chirstants. He does this too know what he critizies. If you take your time to read the bible there is content that goes agianst what most chirstans learn at church, and denies what you learn. The videos of the churches burning and the pastor/preacher/religious guy being assaulted were all examples of inter-religious violence (Jews vs Muslims vs Christians). I am a hardcore Christian and I listen to Aiden without any regret whatsoever. Wil is a good guy + he writes great catchy songs. He is by no means writing satanic music or anything bad. He is just pointing out flaws in the church, which do exist (I am not blind). It is up to us real Christians to show everyone who God really is and God is GOOD.

Aiden are my favourite band, and have been since 2005. They speak what's on their minds, and in this instance, they're picking up on the (what I view as) unnecessary 'hysteria' caused by religion.
I'm not sure how much this has been stated before, but this song is not promoting harm to the religious (specifically Christians, as they seem to be the most vocal critics here). The song is criticizing the sectarian violence of Christians, Jews, and Muslims; and the burning of their rivals' "holy" texts and places.
This song isn't even religious. Seriously guys? There will be extremists in every group. I watched a video yesterday of live footage, a christian burning what they thought was a witch. This is present day. Not every christian is this way. Just like not every punk rock song is about Jesus. This song is about how people are in fear. Listen to the words ... The images match but not for the reasons you are proclaiming.
Through all this supposed "hysteria" being caused by the music video, I'm actually kind of glad. Aiden's finally getting notariety for their work, in kind of a humorous way. I'm a Christian, but I'm not self righteous. The music Aiden makes is an art, not a depiction of church burning. They didn't show those depictions for "demonic reasons," they did it for a purpose. That aggression is what makes Aiden such an amazing band.

I am a hardcore Christian and I listen to Aiden without any regret whatsoever. Wil is a good guy + he writes great catchy songs. He is by no means writing satanic music or anything bad.
