I like your passion for snakes but OMG, you look and sound annoying. Maybe you should stop buying snakes for now. They're easy to take care for now 'cause they're small and feed on much smaller rodents. When your pets get big, you're going to need bigger and appropriate enclosures, bigger feeders, etc. Do not be too greedy 'cause this might just bite you in the ass in the future.

i have a hognose also and they do not need any light fixtures all they need is heat and that can be from a heat pad or a heay light but i just use a heating pad

i have one and a bit of advice to u hognose owners is it gets grumpy in winter and won't eat for ages but don't worry cos the WILL SURVIE but do keep offering him mice. oh and also he gets grumpy and misses about 1 or 2 feeds when he is near shedding :D
