thank You for this video - it reminded me how much I loved as a child/still love Sailor Moon. I'm 20 now and think that this manga/anime is just timeless! Brings back good memories from childhood when each girl wanted to be Usagi when we were playing and screaming "mooon priiism poweeeeer"! I've just rewatched all episodes and cried more when I was a child.Simply - being young you can't understand each beautiful piece of this story as when you watch it being an adult. I don't think its the case that they aren't a good couple or the relationship is boring or uninteresting like some ppl feel. It was more focused upon in the Manga and the anime simply chose to redirect their focus in the S, SuperS and 2 an extent the Stars season. it was there u just didhn't cmuch of it. Why do people would want to put Seiya and Usagi together? When Usagi's so obviously meant for Mamoru?

Seiya's a nice person, romantic, beautiful and powerful... But she and Usagi don't match the way Mamoru and Usagi do. Besides, how can Seiya ever devote her life to Usagi? She has to be loyal to her own princess; That's her duty as a Senshi. Mamoru's heart and soul have only one person to protect: his "Usa-ko".

Get technical, and there is no match for a Princess but a Prince of equal rank!

I'll always ship in favor of M/U and will never see the appeal of S/U, but that doesn't mean others can't ship it. I've shipped a non-canon pairing before and, believe me, it's hard enough as it is. I'm on your side shipping-wise, but I don't think it's fair to put down S/U - those shippers clearly saw something that we simply didn't. As for a princess needing a prince, my current OTP is Merlin's Arthur/Gwen...Arthur's a prince, Gwen's a handmaiden, but they're still the show's official OTP. =)

But Usagi loves everyone, so its no doubt that someone else would also long for that warm love <3. Sometimes technicalities aren't how real life works... and that's why S/U is special. Yayyy
