Oh yeah, I went up an octave on the last verse and also alternated between voices for the first little bit - normally you sing both parts as a duet on the last verse.

It's actually a song I learned when I was younger that talks about mothers. There's a link to the sheet music under the "About this video" section on the right side of this page - copy/paste the link into the address bar of your browser and delete the extra space in the middle of the link (or it won't work)... not sure why YouTube added the space but oh well :-) Thanks for your comment!

wow that piece was really nice.. do you know of other songs that I maybe able to print out... I'm mainly into classical and I'm a beginner and I'm not really familiar with classical violin songs. I only know a couple.

Yeah, you have to paste the link into the address bar and then remove the space in the middle - YouTube added an extra space in the link where it shouldn't have one.

I sure will. She says that your mom will be extremely proud to have such talent childrens..you and your brother. You are right, my mom is happy that i am getting into playing my violin and she noticed that i am getting better as i practice everyday. That is something that brings not just joy but keeps me in a healthy state of mind plus out of trouble..

I studied piano for a few years when I was younger, so I prerecorded the piano part with the violin part in mind so it would fit.
