  • Two words.. Boat Rollers lol Glad you guys can laugh at yourselves. We have all been there done that at some time on the water. So while I sit here at the judging the inadequacies of our pommy mates, I secretly thank the universe that my own failings at boat ramps were never recorded :D

  • @ozskipper Brilliant comment :D Brightened my day...

  • I could have used about 1 hour of this funny video. The way you were laughing made me laugh along with you every time.

Wow, just noticed you have a part two and three,,,gotta go now. lol

  • @zaq4267 Many thanks for your comments, just what I need today. This was 9 years ago, and only got to see it a couple of years ago. I'm 'the old man' and my racing mates helped take it, and took the vid. Well helped, hindered more like lol. If you fancy a read of my exploits, there is a link to my website on the homepage, and a link to boating. Thanks again, you've made my day.

  • hahaha

  • @EroticCheesecake Looks like it doesn't it LOL. Chap who took the vid told me there was one there, and as it was only 4 miles or so from my mooring, and quiet seemed just the job. Thing is, it's been little used, and neglected for years. Ok for us to use with the tractor though. My friend now leases it, along with the bank and a mooring for his boat.. If you click the link to my website on the homepage, then boating, or photos, there's loads of us with boats out on there. Lovely spot.

  • Malc, I,ve got a mate from your neck of the woods and he's a funny fucker, there must be something in the water up there, I saw the second one first but this is even funnier, good work mate.

  • @ultrasonic101 Thanks - yes we do have our share of 'comedians' around here lol. This was 9 years ago, only got to see it a couple of years ago when had it transferred to DVD. Still see them occasionally, in fact saw both of them a couple of days ago. Graham still giggles the same. Had to split it into 3 parts. Link to my website is on my homepage, and you can read my boating tales if you like.

  • Boys and the toys /facepalm

  • you guys are fookin hilarious :-)

  • thought i was watching Top Gear lol

  • why is the trailer so small

  • Malc, your a legend sir, this as had me in stiches lol

  • @1970blakey Pleased you like it :D

  • That thing that looks like a sign is actually the tail of the devil. He drowned there trying to get his boat launched.

  • At 3:07 you can see the face of an African mask in the grass to the right of his leg. Maybe the ramp is possessed.

  • This video made me have the urge to watch topgear...

  • this is one of the funniest things ever lolol:P_

  • @prop1113 Thanks for the great comment :D pleased you enjoyed it.......9 years on I too can laugh now :)

  • @prop1113 Thanks for the compliment :D The best comment I've had ROFL

  • Trailer way to small for boat and you should not have disconnected trailer from van. You should of reverse it back into the water a little more. Anyhow you live and learn.

  • I see no motor and only about half of a trailer that needed to be backed up a bit more so the boat is in the water.

  • Harry Potter where are u?

  • after watching these, i can just laugh every time i read the you tube comment "all you americans are bloody idiots, blimey blimey blimey" yeah ok. b/c you're not?

  • my pwc trailer is longer than that lol

  • Normans are tough boats, built to take 70hp outboards. I know of one with a 6 cylinder Chrysler held on one side of the transom, with the outdrive bolted to the other.

  • Thats a pretty short trailor... what holds up the stern of the boat. Seems like it would be alot of stress on the stern

  • WTF trailer is same size I use for my jetski . Anyway fun videos and don't worry it could be worse..........Nahhh I don't think so LOL

  • thats what you call a dumbass

  • Trouble was it wan't my van, plus having doors at the back we had to move the boat back on the trailer. It was made to tow with a car, or pickup, which I used to tow it the 100 odd miles home. Also my 'friend' drove too fast on rough roads.

Axle trailers of that type actually become part of the boat, and are very common with small speed boat types. Any larger and yes the trailer has to be larger than the boat.

    Thanks for posting btw

  • Trailer was actually the perfect size for that boat. I towed it home and it towed perfectly. I've told cars on trailers for 1000s of miles.

Trouble with the launch is I took my micky taking racing mates with me LOL.

  • trailer is way too small for that boat, and the way you have it strapped. wow. you wouldnt have made it too far on the road in Canada without being pulled over by the police.
