'although the brain is sealed from light' the brain cannot see- that's why we have eyes
' "only" electrical signals in your brain'. You don't exist, neither do the electrical signals in your brain, I'm 'imagining' you?( no insult intended, just an example)
I think the subject is more relevant when concerning halucinations, visions, and not the everyday stuff. Things one person sees while the next person sees something different or doesn't see it at all, like ghosts or paranormal stuff.
If I were the only person to see, sense, and feel the material world outside me, I could believe in what this video tells. There are zillion others who see and feel the things I seeing and feeling. So, the things/matter is real and it does exist. I wonder if this is another way for religious people to twist scientific information to convince others to believe in a conventional God. I dont believe in a God thats depicted in Bible or in Qoran, if thats what you (poster) are representing here.
right but if the bird is not a physical matter in the external world, how can it reflect photons for our eyes to pick up and brain interpret. we all see and hear something that is physically there and our brains come up with identical interpretations. There for our reality is made of material. However, our senses can be manipulated to believe something is real and physical that is not, i.e. dreaming.
Many years ago I got into a debate with a co-worker about such things like "do we really exsist, and that mater was not solid(technically atoms are in fact very much void of matter vs their properties) and the like very simular talk like this subject, in the end I proved we exsist in solid mater(Absolute material reality) by asking him if I could drive my fist throw his virtual body funny enough he soon agreed we are solid... Again we are absolute...
I can buy the brain information. I can buy the observer information. I am not totally against the supreme being idea, and I can't totally rule out the Allah idea... but for me it is a bit of a logical leap. It is one possible explanation sure... but surely not the only one?
I don't know for absolute sure, but my intuition is that in reality we are all literally one... and there is truly no distinction between us and the universe. I could be wrong.

Namaste. Reality is perception. We judge life by a limited visual wavelength oblivious to the vast scape beyond. Excellent video.

"we watch a colourful and bright world inside our dark brain"
very trippy way to think of the 'world' in our head and the world around us

im very much the same line as you , im not a muslim.
the conclusion is very interesting , debatable.
i sometimes often wonder if we will ever truly comprehend our existence and the inner workings of the universe , the human brain , the soul.
i often wonder.. maybe its not we thats trying to understand the universe.. just maybe the universe is trying to understand us.
