But they were right. These "Tea Party" protesters are labeling themselves with the likes of people who actually had a right to protest. The protesters in 1773 were colonists who had their own elected officials to govern over here. They were protesting the Tea Act because they believed that it violated their right to be taxed only by their own elected representatives, which they elected because of a lack of direct representation in Parliament. Nothing like what modern protesters can claim.
The vast majority of the nation gets it's news from radio and the internet. The idea that liberal newspapers and network news "control" the media is laughable.
It was always laughable. The liberal media myth came from a Nixon staffer for fucks sake. Trusting Nixon is like going hunting with Dick Cheyne. Just stupid.
Once again S.A. is dead-on. I find it hypocritical that Ms. Garofalo cries about racism while she has no problem using the racist term "redneck" to describe white people.
..."I yelled stupid bitch at the TV set." That was great.
How anyone can take that dirty, little tattooed chit seriously is beyond me. As more and more women assume that look, more and more men will drop to their knees. I sometimes think the obvious increase in homosexual men is a result of the awfulness of contemporary American women. As bad as Europe gets, at least most of the wacko-lib women there retain a modicum of femininity.
are you sure? they were organized by fox, fox gave them free advertising, supported 100% by fox, the fox anchors were not just present they were leading, keynote speakers and cheerleaders all the way.
We Ron Paul supporters started these Tea Parties in 2007 when Bush was president, and FOX bashed us and the protests, and we were ignored at best by the likes of MSNBC etc.
Now that Obama is president, FOX all of sudden hops into the Tea Parties, though they were unwanted, co-opts them as if theirs, which gives the likes of MSNBC what they need to bash them.
See, the deal is is that these protests against runaway government by both parties are picking up steam. So the elite who had the MSM ignore them in the past, can no longer get away with that. So they have resorted to co-opted them on the FOX side, and bashing them as racist, anti-Obama terrorist, redneck, crazy people protests.
All of this is incorrect. They were planned before FOX got involved, and they were started when Bush was president. Don't listen to ANY MSM
Maybe I am not bright...
WHAT was this video about? Is he against ALL bias or is he just saying that one kind of bias is better than the other?
What a confused video. Maybe somebody should point out all the MAJOR Media companies are OWNED BY BIG BUSINESS.
As we know there is an inherent liberal bias in the Media... really?
The MEDIA IS OWNED BY THE BIG END OF TOWN !!!
Liberal bias? What a shocking thought. And silly me thought the exact opposite.
Oh what a fool I am. Pull harder !!!

That is what FOX, MSNBC and the rest of the MSM are trying to smokescreen with their silly drivel

I can't believe they tried to make it an issue about race?! I don't even understand how they could assume such a claim.
xxstealyourface 2 years ago
Its the usual they are racists instead of dealing with the issues!
The protest was against DEMOCRATS & REPUBLICANS spending our money.....
opps, another journalist leaving out the facts once again!
And for those racists Tea Party Protesters, I guess they didnt realize that they were wanting to vote out a number of WHITE PEOPLE in office....
oh well... so much for racism!
