  • that shit with the monkeys is awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • Fairies get voted into power by coalition proxy then get all the decisions wrong by taking the country into a deeper recession unchecked and media mandate free.

The sooner we get back to voting booths the better before the inexperience of Dai Cameron kills us off for the next few decades at least.

    The advert is great imho.

  • lo l too funny !!!!!!!!!!!!!! love it

  • 0:20 - 0:22

    LMAO That guy was hilarious

  • bing is shit

  • The guy on the escalator looks hilarious

  • thumbs up if you would be freaked out if everyone except yourself was doing a monkey noise :-S

  • Lmaoo!! it makes me laugh the way she says 'Oh for crying out loud'

  • "THE MATING CRY OF THE HOWLER MONKEY!!! OOOH OHHH AHHHH OOOO OO AHHH AHHH!!"

  • Next time you are searching online, try Bing.com for a completely and utterly irrelevant answer to your question.

  • rofl the guy at 0:22 loooks retarded

  • wtf

  • That guy is my teachers son

  • British ads FTW

  • i hate bing search engine but this advert is so funny

  • That could give some the wrong impression that the people of London are mad...LOL...a pity it ISN'T like that!

  • Bing is a crap browser, but this advert is very funny

  • @footloose20005 its a search engine - not a browser

  • @OldTimeyJunk Oops that's what i meant lol

  • lol most annoy and funny adv

  • @LostJester0 yeh i agree, but ive litterally been studying it in media this week so i've been going overboard with the analysis lol

  • Does anybody know the what the song is that comes in at 0.23?

  • The howler monkey man up the escalator looks like he's been shoot

  • That's the funniest ad I have seen for quite some time.

  • I dont like it, it just isnt google...

  • come on guys, its a bit of a crap advert really. How many times in a day - no, a LIFETIME do you actually see people spewing uncontrollable knowledge everywhere? never, that's how many. so what has information overload done to us? turned us into beings of knowledge, and not monkeys. please reply, I want to see other people's opinions.

  • @7pulford actually i do it almost everyday

  • @frogradar realy??? I have a the number for a great psychological therapist if you want.

  • @7pulford The advert obviously isn't literal, it's a metaphor for using online search engines. So for example sometimes google can take a word or phrase and relate it to something you wern't actually looking for. Also the use of that monkey noise at the end implies that perhaps old search engines are 'primative' and also quite threatening. Even the train station with all the people relates to the internet and how information buzzes around the browser.

  • @CJbosh its still a ridiculous advert for a ridiculous product :(

  • Haha :)

Randomly, who does the voice over at the end?

  • @FairyDust1919

    It's John Simm

  • freeky

  • hahahahahaha these adverts are so funny!

Their facial expressions, like robots crack me up.

The girl at the restaurant and the man who sings go on now go walk out the door cause your not welcome anymore. haha lmao

  • This advert is spot on. We are after all just animals in the animal kingdom and one day will become extinct.

Vote Cameron in the UK and you are voting for irreparable change. A drone system.

Gordon Brown rescued the world banking system which has not been received well by the perpetrators of the global financial meltdown USA.

Too many muppets in the UK led by the press that don't allow themselves the dignity to think for themselves.

The mating cry of the howler monkey!

  • too good of an advert

  • Ned Ryerson?

  • @ELGROOVER... Needlenose Ned, Ned the Head, Case Western High Buddy!

  • bing is for dickheads

  • @alphabetman65 Well said!

  • Do faries live underground?

  • Meio assustador.

  • Got to be the funniest ad on the tele. Brilliant.

  • Me and my sister love this advert :)

  • What does he say after 'a vertical line...' I can't make it out

  • @MachineGun28 I think it says " a vertical line dress can enchance your figure" but im not sure either :P

  • pause at :18 and the kid looks like samara from the ring

  • TBH i hate the bing adverts. they are really annoying. I would save your money, and spend it on sorting out windows rather than trying to take over google. Its not going to happen. Google were there at the right time and google are doing too well to just give up. The amount of services they are offering now is unbelievable. Just stick with windows, microsoft. Speed up windows, how come Linux, unix based systems run faster than windows on less hardware?

  • 0:17 i want to stab tht kid

  • HAHAHA the British adverts are so much better than the American ads.

  • Song at the end is Blazer by Golan Globus

  • this is sick! fucking hilarious

  • Comment removed

  • What the theme tune ??

  • pause at 0:18 coz wht boy is ugly!

  • The woman who said "Do fairies live underground" made me laugh so much!

  • advert might of worked if it wasn't for the voice of the man saying "bing"

    whats the name of song?

  • this kid make it good ;)

  • Comment removed

  • haha this is brilliant

  • Go Go Go Microsoft!

  • this is brilliant !!!

    lolfuckinlol!

  • L O L!!!!! it makes me laugh every time :L

  • the woman who said "do ferrers live underground?" makes me laugh so much!! LOL!

  • brilliant advert - love it. Wont use Bing tho.

  • Brian Ferry haha

  • lool i actually almost pissed myself

  • 0:18

That face haunts me in my dreams.

  • This isn't very good. Microsoft are starting to make some interesting products/services but continue to be absolutely awful at marketing.

  • @schlemmsy

Funny, because I thought the ad was great, but the product is awful

  • i think im the only one giving you a thumbs up for this it seems... :)

  • LOL advert is jokes

  • The BIG difference is that Bing don't has spell correction. So if i type: from heathow to picadilly

It shows me pages where heathrow is misspelled. Just garbage.

Google detects it, Even if I type: from heathorw to picadily

BING = But Is Not Google

  • wrong. Bing actually does more than Google when it comes to spell correction.

Bing suggests when you have clearly made a complete mistake in spelling a word, but a lot of the time it knows you have spelled a word wrong, and corrects it automatically within the search results. If i spell "Hello" wrong, and put "Helllo" it will say this: "Results are included for hello. Show just the results for helllo" (both hello and helllo are clickable in that sentence on bing to configure the results)

  • I got upset trying to get rid of this add-on on my IE

  • You must really not understand computers, I don't think it couldn't be easier.

  • nice, like 5 years too late, but nice

  • bing didn't exist 5 years ago...

  • This ad always makes me laugh. The lads like it.

As people are asking "What does bing mean", I'm assuming people asked the same thing when Google came out?

At least I can relate Bing to a sound that is synonamous to the sound of an idea lighting up in your head. Google is the sound a baby makes.

  • Bing? What the hell does that mean? I'm gonna go Google it.

  • I laughed so much xD

  • canary wharf station :P

  • I don't understand what is bing?? I'm think I'm gonna have to google it!

  • bing is just a joke

  • Interesting, Bing eyy...well let's Google it!

  • Yeah google is a way cooler billion dollar corporation than microsoft, Microsoft always try to dominate the web and pc stuff where as google are trying to dominate the errr wen and um pc stuff but they are cool so that's ok, and google pretend to stand up to china GO GOOGLE

  • HOWLER MONKEY!

  • LOL!!! love this ad!!! so funny!

was filmed at canary wharf station btw

  • google forever

  • "Do fairies live underground?"

LOL - but Probably a rubbish engine :/

  • 1- More is more there is no such thing as too much information.

2- Google Ads PWNS this silly Bing ad

    3- Bing is crap

  • There are probably better ad agencies. Could do better :)

  • I think its main issue is that if I hadn't already read an article about this ad, I'm not sure I'd even understand it. Especially since the bloke's speech is near incomprehensible - not so much ramming home the point as completely losing the point its trying to make.

The problem is that Bing may be fine, but search engines are idiosyncratic and users have got used to how Google finds things - they understand what to type in. Why bother learning the tricks all over again with a new one?

  • just GOOGLE IT

  • I can not understand why you changed it from Search Overload to Information Overload...

If anything information overload is more confusing then search overload.

  • Seriously, Microsoft. Are you trying to make everyone on the planet hate and ridicule you? You botch Longhorn completely, then introduce a new search engine with adverts like this? Trust me, the American ones are just as bad, worse even for the lack of cool accents. And I remember the "Bill Gates Random Shoe Conversation" ad. Please, Microsoft, try to be a little less hateable.

  • Terrible ad. When I search for "london underground" in bing, I get a wikipedia article, then the official website, then... drugs?

  • Try comparing the searches for "which tube goes to Euston station?". Bing does even worse than Google on that. Oops.

  • Terrible ad, bing may be a pretty decent alternative to google but further proof that Microsoft can't do a decent ad (though jury still out on new Win7 ads)

  • I worked as a background artist on this advert and words can't express how good it felt standing in the middle of Canary Wharf Tube Station, dressed as a London Underground ticket inspector, screaming like a wild ape. Best therapy I've had in years.

  • @mikefordham brill!! that made me laugh big time. wish i'd been there too ;) very liberating! might do that next time i'm in CW tube station...

  • Why would I need a search engine to find a tube line while in the station? Maybe Bing's ads should show situation's where it would actually be useful.

  • Regardless of how shit as Microsoft can be, this advert is absolutely fantastic.

Put it this way, it's better than go compareeeeeee!

  • thats my mate in the advert...ill be telling him its a terrible ad :)

  • bad. ad. That is all.

  • what is this google you speak of?

  • @bostondude66 I know right. People still use Google? Haha oh wow.

  • Comment removed

  • i got a "bing" when i noticed that bing is crap

  • Haha, Not sure what to make of it. It doesn't suit England i don't think. Mind you, i still use Bing here in the UK, so im not too fussed :)

  • Oh dear. Change the ad agency.

  • Very funny... made me go check out Bing

  • Bing and decide...then Google it!

  • hmmmm. not sure about that
