I got a tower like blue print i have made,dunno if its anywhere else all i know i made it (not taking onwership of design),but its a tower and you are able to make the 4 wings each level but i would do it every second ,its 17 in diameter i can get pic of basic blue print but dunno how i can and where i can upload them to.

Isn't that kind of cheating if the lava generator uses less energy to produce the lava then the geothermal generators generate from that lava? After all you are just "storing" the energy from solar to lava. Infinite energy = not possible by current day science.

@CockatooDude Well yes the law of thermodynamics... Well the world was flat once. Proven by scientist of that time. People could not fly. At least not before Wright brothers came along. Without going in to a very lengthy philosophical discussion, maybe with a twist of psychology, never say never.

@NailHead86 I realize this, but you have to keep in mind that the world was never flat, it was an illusion, and no one ever proved that it was. And flight was possible before the wright brothers came along, a caveman could pilot an airplane (he'd crash it soon after) and be considered flying. But the difference between these and thermodynamics is that the first law of thermodynamics is proven scientific and physical fact: energy always has to be transferred.

@BeastzCerberus See, we have found a particle that goes faster than light: Neutrinos. But something going faster than light won;t give us any energy. See, neutrinos can go right through things, even planets. Not all physical properties apply to them. But something that we could get energy out of has to have physical properties, and something like that (everything except neutrinos) cannot travel faster than light.

I think you're losing energy on the Lava fabrication. I suggest putting the fabricator closer to the MFSU, because lava doesn't lose energy over distance.

Hey Killerbees, i'm not sure if you remember me or not but about a year or so ago i was banned from the origional IndustrialRage serveer for taking someones nuclear reactor, and i was wondering if there was any way i could plya on the server again. This is the only good server that has Industrialcraft2, and i would really appreciate it if i could just have a second chance. if i cant i totally understand and respect your decision. just think about it :)

You need to organize your house. Alphabetize chests by type under Buildcraft(power converters, pipes, engines), Building Materials(windows, glass, bricks), Industrial Craft(nuclear, cables, machines), Natural(stone, cobble, sand), Natural Resources(wood, rubber, wool), Ores(coal, diamond, redstone), Redpower, Tools. Or just alphabetize by items but that makes crafting more of a chore because you will end up running back and forth to make one item, unless your storage room is small.

Redpower is very good compatible with IC2, so cables aren't the only thing you can do, you can also macerate RP Copper and tin, im not shure about silver but you can also make Brass from RP

This is the amount of EUs you get from a single lava unit in a Geothermal Mk2. BC 2.2.5 has made this value incorrect. In an IC2 Geothermal, you get 20 EUs from a unit of lava (or rather, 20,000 for a bucket as IC2 does not have BC's concept of liquid units). In BC 2.2.4 and earlier, lava was worth 2,000 MJ or 5,000 MJ. In BC 2.2.5, lava was changed to be worth 20,000 MJ or 50,000 EU - if you're on BC 2.2.5 you want to change this to 50. so you are breaking even so might aswell gte rid of it.

@skull4y I went and looked after I recorded this. We had it set to even, so the eu it cost to make the oil was the same we got back. So I changed it some to give more eu back than it costs to make, so it could be a liable source of energy.

@xKillerbees See, here's what I don't understand: You say all the time that solar panels are op because you don't need to maintain them.

But then you go and build this, basically creating energy out of thin air using the power converters mod by turning your power into lava and then back, gaining energy in the process. After the setup, it's basically the same as the solar panels: No maintenance needed. (Don't get me wrong, not trying to start a flamewar. I just don't understand your reasoning).

Maybe you should have done the maths first. the lava gen uses 50k eu per bucket. you just need to find out how much the geogen MK.II outputs per bucket. just a suggestion.

Either the system he set up is making less power than its taking in, or its more broken than solar panels. Its essentially taking in EU and making more EU than it uses.
