  • The arike's frip only holds for about 2 weejs

  • @MrR34P The new iii ariake's last for much longer.

I have had them for about half a year and the grip is still like it was when they were in the box.

  • how much are the ariakes and were can I find some

  • @SuperDeathsmurf If you look in the description you will find them, you can pick between 2 different ugly colours. Or if you follow the link in the video to my new video you will find a link for the ariakes iii. Don't forget you can get these even if you live in england but you have to order it from the american site, because uk site doesnt have them.

Don't forget to look at the size chart if you don't live in america because the sizes are obviously different.

  • nice lightsaber, oh its the like bar lol

  • @crazzzzykids Lol

  • R.I.P headphone users

  • I own the K-swiss Ariake I loved the shoe, but it can't take a betting. tore up easily. I'm getting ready to buy the KOs gen 2. Hope i like them

  • k-swiss ariake is the biggest shit i ever saw

  • they are all shit

  • @JMFRERUNNER ..agree.

  • Don't get the K-swiss tubes the tubes are easily destroyed and they are horrible for precision jumps

  • LOLO where are kalenji

  • Comment removed

  • KALENJI SUCESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • KALENJI!!!!!!!

  • @EsserGui They are on my new video

  • success

  • @ErinFudge and should be first, them k-swiss are shit

  • Where are the kalenjis?

  • @ParkourKid171 They are on my new video

  • Are the ariakes good wen it rains or just if there is slipy and do thay have good grip?

  • 5.10s? I need to get some of them!

Anyway, looking through them t have only heard good things about the ariates or what ever the no#1 slot was. Oh well. Unknown guy is out! (then I run off and imitate the 2 story drop that was in jump London)

  • dumb

  • nike darts are very good for parkour i use em and they never let me down nike dart 9 rocks!

  • why the fuck arent kos in here!!!

  • @tdjbeasts101 Yeah what happened to the KO's version 2 came out like a week ago and they are amazing.

  • I gonna buy those slingshot shoes

  • the ariakes are good, but i thing you miss the adidas bounce, the nike rift, the nike lunarlon, reebok pump, and new balance pk 777, all have great grip, and balance

  • MAN ANDA QUE VER LAS MEJORES SON LAS KO DE LA WFPF Y LAS KALENJI EKIDEN 50.. :p TA PARA TRAS TU RANKING..

  • i use puma faas300 running shoes, good grip, flexy, very light and let alot of air to your feet. plus they look sick. a good pair of runing shoes is all you need

  • Good Old kalenjiis :D grippy as hell, cheap and cheerful and tonne of cushioning

  • Sry but i dont agree with you in any of these cases.

  • But are they all durable???? :S

  • i had all these shoes before and to be honest i prefer nike darks 9 but that really personal prefrance .

  • Lol dude, these are all horrible choices :(. This is just sad for the people that actually take your advice here.

  • WTF ARIAKES ARE 160 BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! RIP OFF FOR SHOES

  • trash you dont even do parkour!

  • это всё херня РУССКИЕ ТРЕЙСЕРЫ прыгают в КАЛЕНДЖАХ

  • Chance gilsinger is a faget

  • i have the ariake iii and there amazing much improved over the ariake there very gripy and amazingly comfterbel great shoes

  • @EvilsIntent Agreed

  • BULLLSHITT

100% sure an american made this video, because not many americans can buy kalenjis,

kalenjis, in my opinion and many others, are the best.

  • Are skechers resistance runner good for parkour ?

  • @nikola41123 have you found an answer? please link me a site with any info on them in relation to pk?

  • @bleach4711 No one told me are they good or not, but i believe they are not.I have them,i think those are not god for parkour cuz the sole of the shoe is too narrow and you can easily break ur ankle..but also the sole absorbs impact very good...

  • Why are the ariakes so small?

  • What is the best 5.10 model???

  • Im going with what Drew Drechsel, Brian Orosco and those guys say is the best shoe, and they say Kswiss Ariake's are the best

  • MUTE

  • Horrible...none of these are made for Parkour. I'm a private trainer and Parkour teacher at a YMCA... There's a lot of good shoes for Parkour that you can buy for less than 30$, and if you really want something then you should go for the Puma Xuvia of the Reebok ZigTech. You want something light and flexible that can absorb great shocks. It's true that if a roll is avoidable, it shoul be avoided, and for that purpose, you need great shoes. But i agree with PreedlePk, train without shoes first.

  • @RAMMSTEINSC @RAMMSTEINSC ... I see where you are coming from... but respectfully, the shoe doesn't make the runner. No one particular shoe is better than another. Granted there are some that the general public stay away from... but to say none of those are made for parkour is somewhat of a ignorant statement. I know many talented individuals that train with all sorts of shoes including the Ariakes (very popular), Feiyues, 5.10, New Balance (very popular in my area), KO's, and even Puma Tekkies.

  • Barefoot training? When you train without any shoes on, you will definetly avoid those huge drops and all the other stuff your body isn't ready for yet. You'll train soft landings and through that your flow will improve. Your body will be prepared to do the big jumps when you train hard and long enough

  • nike freerun + is the best

  • Ariake are really bad! trsut me! the best option it's Nike FreeRun, simply perfect! or Adidas Climacool Ride, pretty good.

  • It's all about the kalenji success!

  • WHO NEEDS THE NORMAL AIRAKE. GET THE NEW ONE AIRAKE III !!!!! GETTING MINES FRIDAY :DDD OR SAT

  • Kalenji, Nike Dart

  • KO's and Feiyue shoes are my favourites

  • Rebok-hex looks nice

  • KO's are the best

  • No offense but these are terrible choices. You want a really thin sole for a trainer so that you can learn to better cushion your fall with a roll.

  • @Nuggedee Its cus I made the list ages ago my choice are the kos.

  • @ErinFudge Question, are #5. Nike Air Max Turbulence, and #3, K-Swiss Tubes, still good choices in your opinion? Because you agreed that the shoes are terrible choices, but me and my brother just started getting into parkour and coincedentally, he has the Air Max Turbulence and I have the Tubes, so I'm wondering if these are still good choices.

  • @DylanJxx The tubes are really good but turbulence not so great. Depends how much upper body strength you have. The turbulance have terrible grip. May as well get another pair of tubes or get some ariakes.

  • @ErinFudge i have the Ariakes and i dont like the front grip on it for climing walls and anything thats wet it will slip. i have slipt countless times bc the grip wont catch when i land a flip or do wall runs, even when not wet. but the grip towards the heal is amazing. i land on the balls of my feet though when i flip or do wall runs. so they dont really help me

  • @Nuggedee False, good sir, i do this almost every day, and can honestly say, if a roll is avoidable, it should be avoided. Seriously, those things suck, and take up space. When you reply to this with a video of you running off of buildings ill trust your judgement :)

  • @Nuggedee not really i free run and i use thick sole it help with the landing because it dosen't hurt as much :/

  • what about fiveten alien glow??? iwe got them and the ariakes, alien glow for walls and cement and ariakes for rails and anything else :P

  • the tubes suck dude i have them here

  • Nike air max does not keep long.

I had a couple but they broke in just two training sessions ...

would recommend shoes with a blank sole that is molded, not glued as Nike Air

  • How about Puma Drift Catt III L'?

  • My first pair were the ariakes, they work amazingly! Too bad they stopped making the black version and now make the ugly white and orange ones.

  • @wingedsoul Just get the the new ariake lii they are on the k-swiss website if you type in ariake it will show them.

  • @ErinFudge :O !!!! They look awesome! Thanks! But 150 bucks... :(

  • are mizunos any good for free-running?

  • nike free run 2. try them

  • I bought the ariake off of amazon few days ago! The shoes are on it's way!

  • Got the asics patriot and I think they are rubbish compared to the ko shoe. Also the k-swiss Ariake Iii will be out july 14th for $155.00, £97.12, €109.23.

  • @ErinFudge i got the ko's today and the grip seemed great but they are too small and the sizes dont go past us 11

  • @Kingofvids2 Nothing you can do but cut off your toes.

  • where are the kalenjis ? :O

  • enough of this song, its all of youtube. But still nice vid

  • These are not skateboard shoes, clearly.

  • these were skateboard shoes not freerunning ones!

  • @hamm0di If you go on k-swiss it says everything about it and it is made for pk.

  • Tried my ariakes the other week and they are really weird when u have been wearing kos for ages, u kinda rely on the kos too much for balance. But I gave my ariakes away and am buying a new pair that fit me exact and am looking forward to new vids I am bringing out. :P

  • @ErinFudge

yea man I'm not a fan of the ariakes I had a pair of the mesh ones and they sucked they lasted about a month and the mesh ripped they just all around sucked

  • @doanefive My mesh ripped but it was still usable. For two years I had them and then I gave them to a friend and he still wears them.

  • @ErinFudge

ahhh yea mine ripped so bad my foot was sliding through the hole. plus they don't grip on brick and almost everywhere I train there is brick so I had to get rid of them anyway. now I use the KO's and Fiveten

  • @doanefive Fairplay, how you finding the kos I think their pretty good.

  • @ErinFudge

still waiting ordered them last week lol

  • @ErinFudge

yea I just got my KO's today and they are pretty decent I was only able to test them for about five minutes but I'm hoping tomorrow I can train some more and maybe put up a vid

  • @doanefive the vid up ?:)

  • @doanefive Have you tested the kos properly yet? What do you think? Oh and message me when you put up your vid please.

  • is K-Swiss lozan also gud??

  • im really not sure which ones to get tubes or ariake can u please help me which one should i buy (price does not matter)

on grip shock apsorption flexibility and weight

  • @spearfisherman99 The ariakes are better for grip and tubes are better for cushion and flexibilty.

  • tubes are really sick they have great grip, shock, and spring. plus for a shoe of their size they're pretty light

  • would nike air forces be good for free running

  • @MrKnucklez1000

probably..i say almost all NIKE are pretty good for free runing or parkour....especinetly if they have like really good grip

  • I like the Ariakes myself, as they tend to be very grippy. I do however own 5tens, and they are FAR grippier than any of the shoes you've listed. Also, for most of my training, I prefer shoes with little to no padding, as it makes me develop good landing technique. Most of the shoes you listed had FAR FAR too much padding, specifically under the toes, where you'd want the least padding, so you could feel the ground and rails as you move. just my $0.02

  • would Vibram five fingers be good for free running and parkour? well, vibram five fingers trekk shoes to be specific.

  • Really sad, 5ten's should be on there. The daescents are amazing shoes for Parkour, I use them every run, and the grip is like nothing else.

  • I own the k-swiss tubes and i reccomend them they are good and grippy and can take an impact

  • get my ariakes on friday

  • awesome shoes i own the rinzler, but the best is the ariake (:

  • Name of song? (:

  • @blodpolsen3 My shooter by groovecutter

  • kso????

  • what about nike free tr's? designed for freerunning...

  • @oliz2freeruning2pk any shoe from the nike free range fuckin own lol

  • @rambolambo93 yeah man! ive had mine for a year or more and they are still going :) there sick

  • @Bruteslayer126 are the Nike Free run+ 2 shoes any good?

  • @JesusFruit10 No just get the ariakes they are the best.

  • kalenji are better and cheaper

  • k swiss tubes suck, i broke my central metatarsal by just running on them. no support to front of the foot. avoid.

  • Just got my K-Sviss Ariakes today! :-D

  • @TheTdays What do you think

  • @ErinFudge It's greate! :-D

  • @TheTdays where did you get it

and do they have size 13

  • Got my KOs they arrived late but I didn't think they were coming and got my money back and then yesterday my mum had a letter saying she had a parcel went to the post office paid £16 and got them. Only £16 lol

  • what does ko stand for?

  • @tajion21 Know Obstacles

  • @ErinFudge thanks

  • you know man you don't actually need some special trainers to do parkour.allot of people think kind a "i need special trainers to do parkour" but you actually need a pair of shoes with good grip and youre ready to go

  • no! to all of you...5-10s are the best period.

  • KOs have not arrived after more than a month. My mate bought them and they came after two weeks he lives up the road from me.

  • first ones are mineee didnt expect that :L

  • kalenji?

  • wich ones do u think hav the most grip of all those five

  • @Febrezemaster ariakes. but not worth the 100 dollars and the cheap ass material theyre made of. get shoes about 2 sizes smaller than yours, they stretch out that bad.

  • @Febrezemaster ko's and there cheaper than all these shoes go to the website wfpf and look at shop and go on the ko.

  • @ErinFudge did you know theyre mad just like the kalenjis

  • @Febrezemaster KOs are such a scam. Don't order them. I pre-ordered KOs 8 months ago, and yet they haven't arrived. And no one of their employees has even replied to my e-mails. Just buy Kalenji Success rather than those KOs.

  • r zigtechs good for parkour/freerunning

  • ya k swiss is good but have you seen th WFPF KO'S? they are so sick

  • @drummaster157 I am waiting for the KOs I ordered them a couple days ago.

  • @ErinFudge dude you are gunna love em that are sooooooo grippy ive used them for 4 hours straight and no sign of any damage

  • @ErinFudge Hah, have ur KOs still arrived?

  • @drummaster157 me, my friend joey, and my friend sam all have ko's, and they're really not great. no padding, not great grip, and they tear apart fairly easily. but, they are far better than the ariakes i had, those shoes are shittty! they stretch out liike crazy and the top gets ripped open like paper. its like a milimeter of rubberish material. one palm spin and they tore up 2 inches from toe to the top of my foot. the kos are better than ariakes, but still not that great.

  • @drummaster157 They're not that gr8, im the mate that baught them and they get wrecked in a week if not a day, then they loose their look, but the grip is great and they have an amazing sense of weight(REALLY LIGHT)

  • Just saying now the Turbulance link is well "out of stock".

  • Iv been using the K-Swiss Kirov Mesh fora while, There awsome, so light and grippy an you can really feel the ground through the sole, feels like running bare foot but gives the support too. Only thing is it doesnt give as much impact absorbtion as some of the others but if you can roll right ther perfect.

  • All these trainers are terrible

  • HELP!! i cant find the K-swiss ariakes anywhere, not even on the website!? did they stop making them or what!? :D

  • @MathiasFejborg It is all sorted all the url should be fixed if they dont work just say.

  • i bought 1 reebok THEY SOOOOOO COOOOOL now im the awesom parkour guy in my city

  • would fila be good

  • k swiss tubes suck for parkour no grip whatsoever

  • LOL !!

I have Ariakes ...THEYRE SUCKS !!

    Dont buy them !

Best - Kalenji Success (but u can buy them only in England ... :P)

  • @Tarantulicx They Dont Make Them Any More

    Lucky I Got A Pair!

  • the only things i look to avoid in a shoe for parkour is plastic where the arch is. I do this because if you precision jump and hit that plastic you will slide and smash your face on the ground. I also look to avoid air bubbles like the nike air has because they tend to pop and when they do they twist your ankle to oblivion. I look for tough rubber and a solid sole shoe so they shoe doesn't fall apart so easily. I look for a lot of flexibility and cushion without the use of gels like ascics.

  • lol totally forgot the five tens dude! the five tens!

  • I will bring out a parkour vid soon, can't wait hope you guys like. :)

  • @ErinFudge Trust me I am bringing one out

  • Kalenji!!!

  • hey guys can you please tell me where can i find reeboks cus ive been looking everywhere on net for them, they arent posted even on official site pls help

  • @Govedoable So sorry I took this long to reply, the link is in the description box I only just updated.

  • look up the KO shoe designed by the wfpf (world free running and parkour federation)

  • @FRLparkour I know it's awsome but they were not gor sale at the time I tested the shoes and my mate pip advertised the KO shoe look it up he is one of the best freerunners ever.

  • @ErinFudge pip anderson?

  • @FRLparkour Check his youtube Piptrix

  • This is soooo wrong.

  • @Pandafreerun agreed :/

  • @Pandafreerun are they better than tubes

  • @spearfisherman99 yh thay are a little bit better.

  • @Pandafreerun This was my personal list at the time, but now it has changed loads. Oh still gonna test a load of shoes people have recommended to me on comments and in real life and will make a new list.

  • My Shoes is the first and best ! :D

  • i wouldnt really recommend any of those, except the k-swiss tubes, my friends has them, says there really good, check him out at JedsJumping on youtube. Thanks for the vid too

  • I rofl'd @ Ariakes. Shit falls apart so quickly.

  • @ZeroKogarasumaru Yh it's true but while they last it's awsome, so good grip and very good cushion.
