  • A full HOWTO would be great! Twitter trends would be fun. Also adding a real time clock would be useful. How about News headlines from a RSS feed? Really cool project.

  • i'm very interested in knowing how to make one of these....are you going to make a how to video?

  • That's awesome

  • add "$i = get_file_contents('hits.txt'); file_put_contents(strval(intval($i)+1),'hits.txt');" to your website, and then download "/hits.txt" with the arduino :)

  • code?

  • I would love a whole arduino school :P I know nothing about it. Can I program with a language liek C# or java on one? (I know the java part was stupid)

  • @ampix0 You program in C like. C# and Java are focus on virtual machines. I recommend that you buy a Duemilanove Arduino, a breadboard and some LEDs and resistors, and see some tutorials on web.

  • I did something similar with a 4U2SEE sign. It had ethernet built-in and I used the ADP (Advanced Display Protocol) to update the text. I have a PHP script that runs on a Ubuntu box that polls our web server and simply opens a socket to the sign to update it. I really like this arduino idea, because the non ethernet signs are a lot cheaper...

  • Interested! a lot... I have a lottery stand/store and I would like to display current prizes, number winners and so forth... dynamically.

  • Who made your table? I forgot her channel name

  • @CarlitzLuevanos Meg Allen Cole made it for the CRAFT channel. It's great, isn't it?

  • @mrichardson23 Yea I loved it :) I was going to attempt making one, I just couldn't find the video.

  • INBOX ZERO!!! - Really, when you hit that it should flash and shoot confetti or something.

  • For facebook count, did you tried developers dot facebook dot com/docs/reference/api/user/ ?

  • @xanokothe Yeah, I was hoping to be able to do it without OAuth. It'll just take some time for me to set that up.

  • Because I'm 'forever alone' my project is much more simply... fixed text "Google+ 0 Email 0 Twitter 0" =/

  • when did I subscribe you.... lolwtf

  • Cool please make a how-to

  • im well interested in the method to working with led sighns

  • That was sick

  • Forgot to say thanks for the great how to videos you post much appreciated

  • What about using a Sure 3216 display purchased new for about $30, I would love to see you interface this with an Ethernet shield. I have started to do this but lack confidence on the programming side, so far have scrolling text and real time room temp. Is it possible to read rss feeds standalone using the get command ? Managed to find an example of weather info from a text file

  • like the design.... I still have one of those signs, and it would be great to be able to post my stats, time and temp and get some use out of it again..

  • Make a full video

  • Love this. Please tell more about how you got this to work.

  • Cool project, as are all of your projects. I myself am fairly adept at arduino programming however i would really love a tutorial on PhP servers i.e How to get one started and how to use it / how it works. Thanks !

  • i feel a how to coming up!

  • Yes, a how-to would be very nice!

  • Nice work!

  • Can you do a how to video?

  • Bro really cool, keep it up

  • Bro really cool, keep it up

  • Coool

  • Cool stuff - I'd be curious brand/model of the LED sign

  • @sators Oh yes, I forgot to mention. It's an Alpha 215R

  • plz matt can you doa how to plzplzplz. ps first.
