Oscar was BY FAR the better NBA player. But in a game of one-on-one, if I had to bet money, I would take Pistol.

Oscar is my pick. he did other things; score, rebound, assists. his first 5 years he averaged a triple double. we still compare the bigO's stats to todays best players 40 years after he played', and he did it with out a dunk or 3pt. Pete was a nice scorer but rebounds nope. neither played any D, so the bigO is the best ever to strap em up

@dimichi13 I agree with almost everything you said. But it's not enough to say Oscar averaged a triple double for 5 years. We're not talkin' a cheap 10/10/10, here. Try 30points, 10 dimes and 10 boards. Nobody else ever even had 10/10/10 for one season. Also, you are completely wrong about defense. Big O was a premier defensive player. I don't know where you got the idea he played no "D". I watched him play when I was a kid. I'm not going by research.

I wouldn't say that Pete played zero defense but yeah, he wasn't a big time defensive player. He still averaged a lot of rebounds for a guard though.
