Always reminds me of my school trip to France... In our hotel we were 'climbing up the stairs', on the beach we were 'circling the waves', there was a 'broken ceiling pane' in the church, and a 'broken window pane', my friend was moody and I told them 'Oh, a smile would melt!'
@dandelgrande Funny you say that...Veirs mentioned that very point in an interview she did a couple years back and stated that the pilot and flight attendants were angry with her. She convinced the pilot to not report her only after she performed oral sex on him during the same flight.
the first time I heard this songs I began to imagine myself objects moving fast, like a view from a car or a train window and now I see this and I feel that I some kind of felt that song in the same way that Laura did. Ah.
I heard this on a soundgirl CD and I fell in love with it!

She should be fined by FAA for operating an electronic device in an airplane during take off.

This song reminds me that blood still flows through my veins. That is the salient virtue of Indie Music.

I remember going on that same highway on the way to San Diego from Tucson when I was a kid. I think it's the same one atleast.

There are two keys that can lead to great indie music:
1) Glasses
2) A nice beard
See: Iron & Wine, The Decemberists, Dr. Dog, The Shins (on occasion)
Laura Veirs and Saltbreakers, keeping a proud tradition alive!
