  • I heard this on a soundgirl CD and I fell in love with it!

  • @lilsweeti13 her birth date is unknown. Many websites say she was born in 1973

  • i was looking for a song to use when i go on vacation.. and the first thing i see is a plane.. o_O

  • WHEN IS LAURA VEIRS BIRTH DATE

  • @lilsweeti13 march 6, 1970 it looks like

  • Always reminds me of my school trip to France... In our hotel we were 'climbing up the stairs', on the beach we were 'circling the waves', there was a 'broken ceiling pane' in the church, and a 'broken window pane', my friend was moody and I told them 'Oh, a smile would melt!'

  • So flippin' good.

  • great song and nice video ;)

  • First Laura Veirs song I ever heard. She had me at "I'm."

  • love this song, her voice...... I love laura!!!!!

  • i like all things Veirs

  • She should be fined by FAA for operating an electronic device in an airplane during take off.

  • @dandelgrande Funny you say that...Veirs mentioned that very point in an interview she did a couple years back and stated that the pilot and flight attendants were angry with her. She convinced the pilot to not report her only after she performed oral sex on him during the same flight.

  • @MYSTIKALmonkey

  • I want Laura to come to my town and play this song.

Also: Laura sleeping at 4:26 (aww)

  • Love this song.

  • There are two keys that can lead to great indie music:

    1) Glasses

    2) A nice beard

See: Iron & Wine, The Decemberists, Dr. Dog, The Shins (on occasion)

Laura Veirs and Saltbreakers, keeping a proud tradition alive!

  • oh gosh.

the first time I heard this songs I began to imagine myself objects moving fast, like a view from a car or a train window and now I see this and I feel that I some kind of felt that song in the same way that Laura did. Ah.
