I own three of his books. I am an aspiring poet, therefore I write and read poetry constantly. =)

I liked the first one, but it's all sort of just spelled out, like a memoir. It's nice to make beauty from the ordinary, but his stuff gets sort of tired after a while as a consequence. He's really good at recounting in lovely detail real events...is that poetry? Yes, but it only moves so far, at least for me.
