@gmckennon Probably this is a different key from the original. I tend to fiddle with the keys to make it sound as good on flute as possible. I find the C# on flute a bad note. It's airy, hard to pitch and so often I switch out of D. Though folk music is often in D, for the Fiddle, and I do leave it in D because it's easier to play fast in D and you don't normally stay on C# for any length of time. - Short answer = no :D
