@lolanaya1 Technically every time you draw, you are drawing what you think you see, because you can't look at the photograph and the drawing at the same time, so it's all from memory. You should watch my Jack Sparrow speed drawing.

@KilljoyHighwayKat grab some tortillions and blending stumps, they help A TON with shading, they help blend and smooth out the shadow, for me they made a huge difference, also use real photos from google or from your own camera, then u can see how shadows works in real life settings

What exactly are "Conte sticks" and "Conte pencils"? Are they like charcoal pencils and charcoal sticks? I love blending stumps though. They're amazing lol

@MissElliott11 Yeah they're pretty similiar to charcoal, but I like it better. It's smoother than charcoal and not quite as messy.
