the remake was really really bad as Max Brooks said how can zombies run when they are falling to peices from rotting because they are still dead so they would still be rotting plus when they are outside the mall they are slowing stubbling along it sucks plus you never reall see alot of close up shots of the zombies faces original all the way in my eyes nice vid to mate

ehh, i dont like this new one, they put to much emotion on the zombies face, i like how stiff and lifeless the old ones were, it really looked like what i would think a dead body brought back would look like, stiff lifeless no emotion nor expression on the face....these new track and feild zombies suck

The problem with remakes is that they don't know how to make likable characters anymore, moviemakers are happy with having cliche characters with no personality development, there's the hero, the guy everybody hates, the pretty girl, the funny guy, etc, at the the end you don't care who dies and who lives, you just hate them all and want to see them all dead unlike the originals. You don't care so much about special effects, if you're at the border of your chair bitting on your fingernails.

The formula for the 1978 dawn of the dead was not the scary factor..The scariest thing was that people were coming back from the dead..even friends and loved ones. The original dealt with issues such as dignity, Selfishness, and arrogant stupidity. The remake is more of a popcorn movie.

Besides, Who likes Type B zombies? If We had type B zombies when the world ends, We would all be fucked.

The original was outstanding in my mind, but the remake isn't horrible at all.

Of course, I pick the original. But only for one reason. Sam Foree. He is Dawn Of The Dead in my mind. I don't like zombie movies where there's over 4 characters. I like the 1978 version more because it's a lot more suspenseful. You really wonder which character's are gonna go first. The ending was amazing. The remake did have a lot going for it, but..
