A burial at sea!!! off a U.S. aircraft carrier. That honor is bestowed upon VERY few members of the military when they do something BEYOND the call of duty. Jfk. jr never served in any branch of the military and never held public office. Non-issue for good old Teddy boy. A phone call and boom instant privledge. That day cost me nearly 4 million dollars. I want it back.

First off, this family is has always been treated like royalty. Rose was a pompus stuck up privledged bitch that put herself above all others. Teddy, well that would take a whole page to get into what that drunk did. Now, JFK jr., this idiot was in a cast, on pain killers, had wine in his system when he decided to fly a plane. He flew that plane into the ocean killing two woman and himself. Instead of being charged with murder, Teddy boy used his influence to get him a burial at sea!!!!

Seemed like a nice young man. Very handsome, law degree, friendly,and had a nice career with his magazine, and maybe in politics someday if he chose that. I think Jackie Onassis did a good job as a mother. with both of her children.

Ten years since he, his wife, and sister-in-law were lost. Doesn't seem possible.

What issue of what magazine? If it's the People magazine you're asking about, that one was from back in '88. The Time magazine (Commemorative Issue) has a date of July 26, 1999. You can try to get a back issue on ebay. Good luck!! ;)

@mademoiselle3000 It was People last June or July, I think it was July since that would be the anniversary of their death. I am sure People Mag has back issues.You can email them or look on ebay I have seen it there a dozen times.
