My choir sings this in German, personally I think it has better flow in that language. This song is supposed to be fast but it almost feels rushed here.

BUT. i am singing this song in choir, and at :13 the altos are supposed to be a beat behind the men. kind of like an echo.

it was a district audition song, thats why we sang it in this language and this tempo. It was to help our chorus get ready for district auditions

This used to be the Senior District piece for the longest time. They recently switched it to April is in my Mistress Face by Thomas Morley.
