Yes, I picked him to play on my PS2, and made some comparisons with the PC.

The limit on houses on ps2 is much smaller than the PC and the PC version has a larger screen magnification in the game.

The cool thing is that the PS2, but as in the PC, to play online games and keyboard and mouse. (they are rare games that the ps2 to play the keyboard and mouse)

Sure that the PS2 would have much capacity to make an Age of Empires 2 better than the PC, I think was done in haste.

Well console or not, u gotta give thee devs props for trying to establish AOE games on consoles.

AOE2 was my first and most favoritet RTS game of all time, i played the shit out of it on pc.

Its just to damn bad microsoft had to drop the the studio that made AOE because they think the money is in the console market. Fuck Microsoft for doing that.

Im not much of a pc gamer, but damn too many companies are losing great franchises and studios because of their selfish ways.

Such a shame this game is dead for multiplayer. When played with a bunch of other experts, this game was UNRIVALED. It could literally give you hours and hours of intense strategy and warfare from a single game. I've played many many games since this one, but never have I played one that topped my experience with this game. AoE II FTW.

I think that the definition of console has strayed from it's literal meaning. Now, it is regularly defined as a game system.

BUT. A PC is NOT a 'gaming' console. Unlike PC's Xbox and Sony alike, are designed specifically for gaming, nothing else really. It doesn't use a specific operating system, and is made for the main purpose of gaming.

Gaming is just a small branch of what a PC is.

So technically, only a small area of a PC can be called as a gaming console.

Everything. In age of Empires, the more you have going on, the more RAM (Random access memory) it uses. Back when they made this, computers didn't have much RAM to support a huge game. Nowadays though, everything's better.
