How to cut LAYERS on CHILDRENS hair tutorial! Layered hairstyle

This thing just looks completely retarded. If you want layers to only thing you have to do is start with a small section at the crown and hold the hair straight up and cut it and use the first section as your guide. I swear, people will invent all kinds of crazy shit but honestly you'll never completely be able to replace hairdressers.

also I am studying hairdressing! NVQ level 2 I have done a hairdressing course in level 1. SO PLEASE remember when you are cutting someone with natural curly hair please wet it DON NOT DRY IT leave it wet and keep wetting the hair so it doesn't start to go curly.

I have natural curly hair and I went to a hairdresses who then blowdryed my hair straight and cut it, when my hair went back to it's natural state (my natural curly hair) it was not the length I wanted, I went into the hairdresses with hair past my shoulders I only wanted a trim I came out with my hair up to my shoulders when she wt my hair again to make it curly I WAS NOT PLEASED!

You should NEVER blowdry curly hair straight then cut!! If you blowdry your curly hair straight and cut it, it will be a lot shorter when it goes back to its natural state (your curly hair).

@pinkstate no it's better when it's dry because you can cut the length you actually want. when it's wet and you cut it, the haircut you get when your hair is dry is a lot shorter than you would like it to be

@RaiiAbrigox3 yes it keeps the length and add layers. If you dont' want to lose length just make sure you slide until the hair on the back starts to fall out. That mean the length does not reach and it wont' be cut allowing the length to be the same!!

@Adeleah yes it will come a V Shape. It becomes a V shape because everything from the back is pulled forward and cut so when it fall back it goes from short to long and creates a V at the same time!!!
