Replying to the comment, "Why is Yoko blind-folded": I think that the "blind-folded and knitting scenario" is intended to symbolically represent the people in the world who just meander through life without perceiving or realizing any "greater realities" to human existence; which seems to be the message that the song tries to convey. Also, this song was released in 1970; and TV appearences and (what passed for) music videos from that era were typically staged in very simple and basic ways.

@voldemortsnipples12 I think the "blind-folded and knitting" scenario is intended to symbolicallly represent the people in the world who just meander through life and don`t perceive or realize any "greater realities" to human existance -, which seems to be the message that this song is in reference to. Also, keep in mind that this song was releaesd in 1970. TV appearances and (what passed for) music-videos of that era were staged in fairly simple and basic ways.
