She was dowdy, middle aged, and awkward and in smug arrogance everybody wrote her off.  It must have been so difficult for her to face ridicule. And when there was a collective gasp in the audience it was perfect. They applauded and she just walked away. What is it to win a small victory for yourself and then need no more because you've had far less? I can't describe what moments like this make me feel but it's something like triumph and there are too few moments in life like it.

The poor woman should have had a psychological assessment before singing in the semi-finals, she isn't equipped for the media circus which exists, to have cried for 24 hours after coming second says it all. People were foolish to have over-reacted to her actual ability and built her hopes up too much, she stood as much a chance as Shaheen or Natalie Okra as a singer and Diversity were deserving winners. She obviously expected to win which was foolish of her but the public are also to blame.
