Yeah they finally succeeded in making all tanking classes viable for tanking all sort of things, paladins might be even a little OP atm (Naxx's fault I'd say).

noob.. you never use divine sheild while tanking.. it's reset you aggro.. and your job isn't to heal yourself while tanking.. so the healing spells is useless..(althought if the mob is doing something else)..

best spec 00/49/12 or something like that.. depends on what you like ..

both of the reason you used for makin them the best tanks are terrible. but they're very good at holding aggro on large groups of mobs, but they can have a little bit of trouble on single mob pulls.

Nice job with that. You could do better if you didn't have the lag. Also, missing a very VERY important Paladin Tanking trinket for this. It's called Figurine of the Colossus. It is a heroic drop, i think SV. Get it and get Shield Block rating gear. The trinket, when activated, gives you 120hp everytime you block an attack for 20 seconds.

I think maybe I'll make a video of my prot pally AOE tanking some crap too. Check out my vids in a week. It should be up by then.

The trinket drops of second boss in Shadow Lab. Non heroic, haven't tried heroic but it should drop from heroic aswell.

i can pull agro off a pally tank like nothing when i tank on my warrior i can AoE just not 20 ppl like a pally not saying that a pally tank bad just pallys should stay with the big mob pulls and warrior go for one target i have one of each btw:)

Not every pally tanks are absolute geniuses.. some of them are. The ones that are can tank alot better than MOST warriors. obviously hardcore warrior tanks are gonna do better overall endgame than pallies.. pallies are however a brilliant alternative and much more fun to play

Well its because for the past 4 years warriors were the prime tanks and people dont like changes. Also people dont know allmost anything about tanking so that when they see 16k hp their like "LIEK OMG! HE MUST GE PWMNAGE HAXORZ!". Let them realise they need us, not the other way around.

Prot palas are really usefull in some specific bosses but u have to admit they can't always be MT when doing trys to a new boss.

We've got a tankadin in our guild, he is very useful in some bosses but in gruul for example he just changes gear and heals.

AoE grinding trash mobs =/= viability, sry. A holy paladin in spell dmg gear can kill those mobs twice as fast as you did, and finish the fight with above 50% mana. I suggest deleting your char and trying again with a druid
