  • I've never played anything like this before. Damn...this is fun! Luv it.

  • On this guitar I use a medium extra light set that starts with a 011

It's a good thing to let your other fingers help with bends. I often do that.

In the performance video of this song I play a different guitar that has lights, starting with a 012; on that guitar however I replaced the wound third string with a plain 020

Stiffness of action differs from guitar to guitar; guitars with a short scale (less than 25") like all my guitars bend easier.

  • What gauge of strings do you use? That 2nd-string 3rd fret bend kills me. I've tried using my index finger to help and down-tuned 1 step to D, but still! Please tell me those are .10 or .11s! Thanks.

  • great video

  • Good tuition i am looking forward to putting this into my playing thank's.

  • Good Beefy section!

Some of these licks are familiar ... maybe your Stompin' the Blues lesson.

Very very nice. Got the licks.. now need to add the raspy feel. Thank you so much!

  • just great!!!

  • Your bass string is muted by the palm of your hand so it doesn't reverb much. Even THAT gives me pause.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this joyful stuff. Something about the blues touches my soul.

  • Brilliant again.. Thank you.

  • ...I'm all over this. Right on!

  • nice !!!!

  • Thank you. Best Regards Thomas Richmond

  • your good man! i love it! thank you for the lesson!
