when you say that you didnt decsribe that every well on the top of the bag, do i just gather the top the same way we did the sides? and would i do the top in two parts or a continual round?
About to start this bag, as a gift, for my sister's birthday! Sent the husband out for the materials, just now! I LOVE your tutorials/videos!! Thank you!! =]
And thanks so much! I'm a very newbie crocheter, and was so excited to find you! I just started this last week, and have decided to make it a much bigger bag (I continued the pattern for the main part of the bag, and will be turning it into a long rectangular bag with a bottom to it)...so I can use it as my crochet supply bag! I can't wait and will post a pic when I'm done!
But again, thanks b/c without you I had no clue how to do any of it! :)
I almost finish my bag and reading the reactions of the other people on the video's. But I have done the both sides of the bag on my own fantasy because your video don't show how to do the both sides. It just jump a whole part of the tutorial. Anyway I don't think the solution I tried is bad. Thank you so much for taking your time to share your hobby with us. God bless
I made the OVW with her and loved it! Now I'll be sure to make this one with you since it looks AWESOME!!!! And THANK YOU so much for the handles, I was looking to replace the ones they sell at the store.....let me go search for the yarns and I'll be sure to post a picture on your Facebook since I just can't do the video 'thing' here :)
So do you do two rows of SC on the long sides and then one row of SC all the way around? It seemed to sort of cut you off when you were explaining that.
@tjkoch88 on all sides you do the 2 decrease rows and then 1 sc row and then on the side that you want to add the handles you make another 5 rows of sc . Didi that help you ?
I have made two versions of this bag from OVM..I will now be attempting your version ...always wanted to make something with Tartan but did not understand how to do it ....Thank you so much I enjoy all of your videos..and the items made are really cool...Keep well and all the best...You make crochet fun
@bacwest57 Are you talking about the wider part where the handles go ? the bit that is all Single crochet ... At the 9.00 mark i start to talk about it and say to add 5 more rows of sc to the side that yopu want to to add the handles :)
I was working on taking notes for this bag so I could take this with me when I run around but the video quit working at 5:10. Does anyone have notes on part 3 that they would be willing to share?
@maratbabe I've sent my notes to the bobwilson123 so that she can edit them so that others can understand them. I'm sure if you contact bobwilson123, she will be happy to forward it to you. She might even post it on her blog, I'm not sure.
This bag is beautiful! I really enjoy your tutorials & thank you so much for taking the time to do them. I'm writing out the pattern so that I can make this bag! THANKS AGAIN & keep up the great work!!!
I wanna try this I like how the handles attach and want to try as is In picture I hope it shows that in this tutorial too
