I have a laptop.. Controlling the "helicopter" was not a problem... I did it with ease.. But with this... when i use the direction keys, the altitude automatically drops and it crashes in land... how did anyone solve this problem?

for ps2 you use analog stick to control taking off.

It's actually quite easy to control this. Just press 6 while pressing up, and you'll fly. The RC helicopter is so much more difficult than this thing. And flying the skimmer is fun, too, coz it can go on water, so if you're flying above the water and you get lowered down you don't die.

@FuJi1616 yeah go into redefine controls under options in the pause menu set Next wepon as D Previous wepon as A Then under the In car column Set forward (up) as W Backward (down) as S Left as Q Right as E Then set Lean turret down as Num9 (9 on the keypad) Lean turret up as Num6 (6 on the keypad) Use 9 to go up 6 to go down Q as left E as right W as speed up And practice like hell

This was THE single hardest mission in any GTA game I have ever played. Worst part is, there's really no cheat available that can help you either. If you aren't precisely accurate and hold the right or left stick for a quarter of a second too long, you miss and fail. I broke three controllers trying to beat this...

after long long long efforts....i just got through........

small tip : just change controls from 6 to left mouse button.

spend some time on learning to fly that thing rather than directly entering the mission.

its all about practice....try one more time and you will win....

It is so easy!!! Just three keys you need to use!!!

Just use UP to accelerate, and if you are enough fast, you can use NUM6 to go up, and if you want to go down, you have to use NUM9.

Funny how you fly right past a police helicopter at 2:07 and they don't notice the seaplane shooting out a ton of fliers... then again, I guess R* didn't want to make us have to do this while being chased by a police helicopter and having to escape the wanted level at the end.

@Cornwiggle The helecopters were okay, but the planes were TERRIBLE. The bikes were fine too, but Tommy is the worst bike driver ever. Even if the bike was going 10 mph and braking, he'd fall off if he so much as tapped something. That's pretty pathetic to fall off a bike while it's decelerating.

yeah, you need some practice doing this dildo dodo mission.. me, i've finished this mission then i've found out that this was soo hard.. for those whose using LOPTOP like i do. you need to change your controls by doing this procedures : OPTIONS, CONTROLLS, REDEFINE CONTROLS then change it..

'lean up" = change to. "o"

"lean down"= change to. "L"

"look left" change to. "k"

look right"= change to. ";"

Ok this mission takes some practice because the sea skimmer flies like a ruptured elephant ( ha ha ) try flying up then down the up then down then up to gain hight. I fount the worst coronas are the the one betweent the buildings and the one in downtown those gave the most problems.
